Though President Obama said he was sorry that more than 4.2 million Americans have had their health insurance policies cancelled due to his signature health law, that did not stop him from instituting additional regulations and mandates for services in ObamaCare, this time for mental health and substance abuse.
On Friday, the Obama administration announced new rules that place mental health and substance abuse services on par with medical and surgical benefits.
The rules, which will apply to almost all forms of health insurance, will likely have far-reaching consequences, states the New York Times, as they are critical to Obamas program for preventing gun violence, i.e., his belief that more availability of mental health treatment will reduce gun violence. In issuing the new health insurance regulations, the administration said it will have acted on all 23 executive actions that Obama announced earlier this year to reduce gun crime following the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut last December.
Despite Obamas belief that if Americans are taxed enough to pay for mental health and substance abuse services for all there will be less gun violence, mental health experts have stated that such a law would not have prevented the Newtown shooting or other similar shootings.

Soon it will be a Catch 22: Only insane people want to have a gun, so if you want a gun then you must be insane and can’t legally own a gun.
The See-a-Shrink, Lose-your-Gun Edict...
The most insidious part of Obamacare is the ultra-wide latitude the executive branch has at making up rules.
Yep, it goes like this:
Got Guns?
Yes
Yer crazy. Hand em over.
I agree completely.
Just come and take them with Larry and Mo, Curly.
More conrol of the mind bending drugs and less control of tools is what we need.
Liberals are power mad - they always want to curb the constitutional freedoms of 300 million people instead of holding individual evil doers and their enablers accountable.
Just another reason to not sign up for ObamaCare.
Any “medical professional” asks me... I’m lyin’.
More Soviet-style politics.

13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
that about covers anything and everything
I think this has been in there from the beginning. There are free mental and physical health checkups. The feds get to decide who's crazy and they'll have a list of your complete medical condition for future reference. Does anyone want to be involved in a system in which the feds decide who's crazy?
I could see this easily leading to forced meds for those "with mental health issues" and forced vaccinations.
Remember, the company that is behind the ACA websites also has a gun-registry notch in its belt. Lying may work for a while, but eventually they'll pull in all the NICS background-check data that supposedly doesn't exist and the BATFE's database of 4473 info obtained from defunct FFLs. Unless everything you own was purchased via private, non-FFL source or was acquired a *long* time ago, they'll eventually know about it.
No thanks! Not playing ball with this gang.
guns? what guns? “I lost them in the lake last year when we took ‘em out target practicing at the ducks (or fish) and we lost ‘em overboard.”
Or some other lame excuse—meanwhile, gotta do some research on how to safely store a weapon in an undislosed BOL (bug-out location)...ant don’t tell anyone either cuz ya never know who is gonna snitch on you when the SHTF.
All the mass shootings have been caused by liberals. Therefore, all liberals should have mental health counseling.
With this train wreck called obammacre, soon everyone will need this mental health insurance coverage, as obammacare is driving us all crazy!
It is the responsibility of the House of Representatives to stop lawless behavior of the President.
Don’t hold your breath waiting on Boner to do what he is constitutionally required to do. After all no one takes the ramblings of a bunch of old white men from a different era, seriously any more.
