Hardly a commercial break went by in October when Virginia voters werent reminded of Ken Cuccinellis far-right views on abortion and other social issues.
How much of a difference the deluge ultimately made after Cuccinellis surprisingly narrow loss against Democrat Terry McAuliffe is open for debate. What isnt in dispute is that Democrats and womens groups believe their war on women playbook worked. And they have every intention of using it again in 2014,

It worked against Romney.
I know plenty of otherwise smart women that fell for the "war on women" mantra during the last election. May not have voted for Obama but can sure bet they didn't vote for Romney if they voted at all.
Younger unmarried women = sluts.

Paint w/ a broad brush much? Calling young women sluts does not win over their votes nor their mother’s votes.
Hateful words don’t work to convince people your vision is the right path.
Young women obviously value right of abortion over other issues. And that is not going to change anytime soon from what I am observing. Cuccinelli lost single young women by 90:10 or something like that. Sad but true.
Democrats don’t practice equal pay with their own female employees
Democrats are hostile to raising the employment rate among women
Democrats are hostile to female entrepreneurs
Democrats will treat women who cannot pay for Unaffordable Health Care as criminals
Democrats think girl babies are punishments
Democrats don’t believe young girls should attend the schools picked out by their parents
Democrats don’t think female patients in women’s health care facilities should be tended to be real doctors
ahh well.....that’s enough for now
The left is going to fight dirty. They always do, but this time it will be worse than ever. They have already started on Christie, now that it is obvious that he is a threat to their power. Time magazine and editorial ‘cartoonists’ are sliming him for being overweight.
Remember when ALL mocking of 0bama was off limits?
This time ALL mocking of hillary’s chipmunk cheeks will be off limits, or her ample thighs. But the media will attack Christie relentlessly. It has barely begun.
In a sane world, the people who attack like that would be given no credibility and would lose their reputation and respect. In the world that we have, they become darlings of the democrat party, and reap the rewards.
It’s amazing how young women have become so brainwashed into looking at infants as non-human parisitical obstacles to fulfillment.... but they have.
I presume most of these young women have mothers who thought otherwise and cared for their daughters....but deep thoughts do not appear to be common with this younger bunch.
Jim,you are right to “TM” it,and equally right to note that the current phase of it began with Sandra Fluke, who the Left fashioned into the Celebrity of the Momentby giving her a forum at the Convention-——her momentary passage across the political skies stirred up the base, the already-converted, but revealed to many more the ineradicable sense of entitlement and laughable immaturity with which the Left imbues this little boutique issue of theirs.Above all,the Left grants the acolytes who buy into this and the rest of their issues af self-congratulatory sense of identity as fearless warriors unafraid to do battle with those who would deprive them (and by extension “all” women) of what they believe are their “rights”, rights that, coincidentally, OTHER people have NO right not to have to pay for.
The first real step to effectively counter this, is to realize that they actually do militarize every issue. The statement is not subjective, but objective. Starting from the days of Mussolini who first engineered the militarization of issues to control the economy to today. The easiest way to think about this is the minute they say, 'War on __________,' they have already set you up as the enemy. The War on Women, is not about compromise etc. they are waging a win or lose battle, not a cultural evolution. Every time they say 'War on _____,' if is an effort to divide and conquer.
I don’t think they want to be Palinized or have you forgotten what they did to Palin already.
“War on women,” is just a slogan of the tactic to divide and conquer.
I'm afraid this is a moral problem, not simply a political one so it is going to be extremely tough to beat in this generation.
We lost that war long ago when women were talked into "sexual liberation" (read: libertinism) and were convinced neither chastity nor a decent husband and family was "necessary" or even desirable for fulfillment as a "liberated" woman. In fact, all those prevented "self-fulfillment". In other words, they bought a cunning lie of the Devil and the feminist movement (a completely unBiblical and destructive world view) took root in their hearts.
In the meantime, men's moral underpinnings and genuine masculinity and responsibility in it's best forms were destroyed by the same lies and libertinism. Hugh Hefner's "philosophy" took root in men's hearts about the same time as well and the ugly results fifty years later are what we are reaping as a society.

I like it. Just make up crazy stuff and sling it on the wall. Libs do it all the time. Fight fire with fire.
I can’t believe the stupidity of people to believe that the Republicans want to put them back in chains. In reality, it was the Demoncrats who put them in chains and keep them there. These truths should be made clear -but the Republicans side step the issue.
Given that this is directed at *single* women wouldn’t it be more fitting to call it “the war on welfare parasites”?
I know. This country needs a “Come to Jesus” Moment.
Correct, and the point of this posting.
Rape and to save the life of the mother are the two generally accepted exceptions. We are told KC allowed for neither and he was pounded as extreme and inflexible. So, I’d grudgingly go with that.
Sluts for Ted ! That’ll win some votes.
