BETHLEHEM - US Secretary of State John Kerry urged Israel on Wednesday to limit settlement building, an issue that is weighing on Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
Friction over the talks has risen this past week on the back of Israeli plans, announced in tandem with its release of 26 Palestinian prisoners, for some 3,500 new homes for settlers in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
"Let me emphasize at this point the position of the United States of America on the settlements is that we consider them... to be illegitimate," Kerry said after discussions with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

I consider the whole Obama regime illegit....
This is why we’re going down.
We’re turning our back on Israel.
God’s promise in Genesis is pretty clear.
I wonder if Kerry knew who his father was?
Speak for yourself, Gigalo commie punk
A true conundrum.
Why would he care? He has been re-elected and can do as he darn well pleases. As witnessed by his arbitrary delay of the employer mandate.
Native American Indians feel the same way about your real estate holdings, Mr. Kerry.
Hey Kerry, its none of your business what the Israeli’s are doing with their settlements. Loser!
Wow, I feel the same about John F’ing Kerry (who served in Vietnam).
No, the United States does not, just a Marxist, Mooslim, Kenyan, Steaming Pantload and his Easter Island headed stooge.

Da*m, I hate ... other than taglines which FR needs to expand.
The actual quote is
Let me emphasize at this point the position of the United States of America on the settlements is that we consider now and have always considered the settlements to be illegitimate. And I want to make it extremely clear that at no time did the Palestinians in any way agree, as a matter of going back to the talks, that they somehow condone or accept the settlements.
I'm sure he'd like to have added in the future. Wonder if any Kohn's in Israel, all of Israel is a settlement after all, change their name to Kerry they can move to Boston. Doubt most would want to, unless there's a mustard lady to marry
45 years have neither extinguished nor even dimmed my loathing for this pusillanimous pustule on the backside of the American left.

Kerry is full of it. Kerry is mouthing Islamist propaganda. He should just go work openly for the enemy, as he’s been doing during and since the Vietnam War. Americans overwhelmingly understand the difference between mass murdering, hate-filled Islamists and peace seeking Israel, a country that gives everyone on the planet humanitarian gifts, including caring for the sick and needy of the world, monotheism, life-saving medical and technological and agricultural discoveries. Americans overwhelmingly support Israel and wish the Islamists would stop creating strife and killing and training their children to hate all over the world and that Islamists would just leave the rest of the world to live in peace.
“Elections have consequences. Jewish vote 79% for Hussein.”
Dual citizen Israeli/USA, however, or ex-pat USA in Israel, the votes was 84% or 88% against Obama, depending on the election.
Not sure why you think Israelis should be punished because a lot of liberal JINOs live in the USA.
They already made that clear to the Fogels. Neither do they condone nor accept the existence of a Jewish state. What’s there to talk about, really?
The Ketchup gigolo should be waterboarded to see if he actually knows ANYTHING.
Who cares what Kerry’s opinion is on anything? His opinion and a couple of bucks in today’s Obozo economy, can buy you half a cup of coffee in a decent restaurant.
