For all the hub-bub, the Confederate Flag, was a symbol of secession.

I have no “slaver’s blood” in me, for I am a true half-breed, Mojave and German immigrant stock.

I DO know that a lot of States’ Rights issues are being taken over by a centralized federal government, outside and beyond the scope of the U.S. Constitution. Just as there could have been some of the same issues, and some only valid for that time frame in the 1850’s, the trampling begins again.

A genuine patriot, Hank Williams, Jr., has long been associated with the Confederate flag.

The lyrics in his song, IF THE SOUTH WOULDA WON, include these spot-on phrases:

My take is that the nowadays the Confederate flag is a symbol representing opposition to a tyrannical regime headed by the likes of Hussein and Holder. Focus on the issue at hand if you want your message heard.
