At a tea party rally in Washington Sunday billed as the Million Vet March, one idiot decided to bring Confederate flag, which was enough for liberals to paint the entire Republican Party as racist.

States rights is very relevant unless you are a historical idiot. The Confederate flag is a reminder that the right of secession is inherit and always a valid choice.
my thoughts as well........not that I find the Confederate flag offensive...but the politically correct seem to...
While I can see your point, just being there, is an opening for the pinko commie geek rats to try to derail it.
They bare American haters! Thanks for the photo; I just tweeted it. I hope everyone here also tweets it.
That man was not an idiot.
For all the hub-bub, the Confederate Flag, was a symbol of secession.
I have no “slaver’s blood” in me, for I am a true half-breed, Mojave and German immigrant stock.
I DO know that a lot of States’ Rights issues are being taken over by a centralized federal government, outside and beyond the scope of the U.S. Constitution. Just as there could have been some of the same issues, and some only valid for that time frame in the 1850’s, the trampling begins again.
“Similarly, a person bringing a Soviet Union flag to a pro-Obamacare rally would be idiotic, allowing us to point at the flag and call them all old school communists longing for the return of a brutal communist state.”
Or wear a Che tee shirt. They would seem to be all the rage now.
Republicans and tea-partiers have really been taking advantage of that.....
When you allow the liberals to start picking your symbols you have lost half the battle......if you give in to the confederate flag they will merely point to something else. They are always going to paint us as racist.....the proper response is to ignore them and do what you believe is right. Also you can always tell them to go here ....it will really piss ‘em off:

The lyrics in his song, IF THE SOUTH WOULDA WON, include these spot-on phrases:
I'd make my Supreme Court down in Texas, And we wouldn't have no killers gettinoff free. If they were proven guilty, then they would swing quickly, Instead of writin books and smilin on T.V.My take is that the nowadays the Confederate flag is a symbol representing opposition to a tyrannical regime headed by the likes of Hussein and Holder. I believe it's a legitimate, bold, politically-incorrect form of protest against a corrupt Marxist administration as well as a slap at the virulent hate-spewing racist, Malcolm ("X") Little:
Aren’t they usually plastered on the roof of the orange dodge?
I totally agree. Just as other symbols have evolved, so has the Confederate flag.
Only is your demented twisted mind. You are more dangerous then the most sycophant Obama apologist. You will deny history and kowtow to the leftist dogma. Coward.
And what the hell does any of that have to do with a protest against closing a federal memorial to US WWII veterans?!
Focus on the issue at hand if you want your message heard.
If you want to revisit your right of succession battle yet again, organize your own rally for that effort and stop elbowing your way into other legitimate protests.
If you don't understand federal tyranny then I cannot help you. Go away.
The left finds a whole host of things debatable. So you will kowtow to whatever the left/Marxist consider to be debatable? In that case they can manipulate it to whatever they want which happens quite frequently to the right. The right just keeps backing up because the left squeals. The more appropriate response is so what?
Its ridiculous what the left has created in our society. Its like a friggen' raciality cult.
Way to not answer the question, Clem.
They aren’t a raciality cult as their primary motivation and purpose.
Raciality is used because it’s been an effective weapon in their war on Conservativism/Western Society/Christianity.
