At a tea party rally in Washington Sunday billed as the “Million Vet March,” one idiot decided to bring Confederate flag, which was enough for liberals to paint the entire Republican Party as racist.

And before those of you who try to justify the Democrats by saying that the Republicans have also done evil, let me remind you that The Democrat Slaver Party has historically been the Party of progressivism and the Republicans the Party of (in the modern US definition) Conservatism. Sure, the Republican Party has had is ebbs and flows; but has never held long a position that is so abominable that it should be abandoned. Plus, we have the Tea Party making progress within the Republican Party. On the other hand, the Democrat Party has had many, and held on to many, evil ideals as their foundation. Furthermore; having a right to do evil does not justify an evil – as the Democrat Slaver Party has and is still doing.
For these reasons; the Democrat Party should be abandoned and never be defend and/or justified – past or present. Why would anyone want to defend the Democrat Slavers of then and now?

I don’t have a problem with the Confederate flag anyway. Do the ‘rats have a problem with their hero Robert Byrd, former KKK leader and their designated “conscience of the Senate”?

It’s also entirely possible - and highly probable - that the so-called “idiot” was a lefty plant, doing what he was told to do, to give the other side their talking point and pictorial/graphic.

I attended a Tea Party rally in Tallahassee a couple of years ago. An extremely hostile black woman showed up; an obvious plant with very racist, very nicely printed anti-Obama signs. We tried to surround her with our Tea Party signage and thus kept her moving to the periphery. She, of course, made the news.
Are we sure it wasn’t just someone from Georgia carrying his state flag?
A friend of mine who recently visited Virginia said Confederate flags were trending there!
That flag has never injured or insulted this yankee.
As with Bob Costas, it wasn’t physically painful to say “Redskins” 5 or 10 years ago, why now?
Think I’m going to get me a confederate battle flag and fly it here over the lake with lights so it sticks out at night. It can stand in defiance of the liberal ivory tower of PC.
I guess because unlike the libs, he didn’t wear a mask or hoodie to conceal his identity. Noticed some, uh, non-whites helping tote the barry-cades over to the white house. Must have been some slaves of a wealthy 1% tea party racist. Or maybe they just know where the real shackles are. Or they were paid plants to make it look like the tea party isn’t racist. Besides which, this has nothing to do with tea party or not. People just pissed that the govt thinks they own everything. Our tax dollars, their paychecks, our country.

Maybe they should read a history book instead of believing what they hear in the media about the Confederate flag.
no sale. actually, the leaders of the GOPe have lately been making among the most racist comments, i’ve ever heard (Jeb Bush for example), and the very idea of amnesty for votes is completely racist in the extreme.
no revisionist history please. and the GOP itself has been a liberty stealing disaster mitigated by a few good men since Teddy Roosevelt.

I have no problem with the confederate flag, but bringing it to a Tea Party event is idiotic, specifically because it allows the other side to swing the debate over to territory they're more comfortable on.
The confederate flag has absolutely nothing to do with today's world and the issues being discussed.
Similarly, a person bringing a Soviet Union flag to a pro-Obamacare rally would be idiotic, allowing us to point at the flag and call them all old school communists longing for the return of a brutal communist state.
You want to keep your protest on message and not allow openings to the other side to derail it.
The talking heads say the Tea Party is full of racists. The liberals believe it because they want to believe it. I have family members who started calling me a Tea Party racist and I’ve never been to a Tea Party rally. Because of their slander, I wouldn’t spit on them if they were on fire.
They are all orgasmic over the idea of slavery to the state.
Democrats never pass up on opportunity to tell us why slavery by the state is for our own protection and our own safety, because life under the anarchy that conservatives want to impose is just too risky and dangerous. We can't have any of that inhumane"on-your-own economics" that conservatives advocate.
Thereby proving that you no longer have to be black to be an Uncle Tom.
