FR won't let me post the link to Military Times, but the story is there ...
...at 30,000 feet.
they don’t vote democrat anyway. They lose nothing by ignoring the military.
My son is active. We’re both unhappy about this.
Despite both my senators being functional illiterates, this will positively draw calls to both of them.
When they did this in 1978, the flights and med care for congressmen and senators was quietly shut down, congressional wives were turned away at the door and told to seek care elsewhere because there was no funding to cover them. There was also no funding for boondogle flights for congressmen. In a couple of cases where the “rulers” tried to force the question, aircrews and hospital staff called in sick. Commanders at the time were behind it; now, who knows. It worked and within two days the self-serving bastards restored all pay and funding.
Yeah, except historically speaking one of the best ways to turn the military against you [actively, that is] is to fail to pay them.
Reid is the power elite’s messenger boy. He’s told what to do then he gives the message to obama. This sheilds obama. He opened his mouth on Syria before he got Reid’s instructions.
The AF pilots should have a “blue out”. Everyone of them call in sick.
S.1541 - A bill to appropriate such funds as may be necessary to ensure that members of the Armed Forces, including reserve components thereof, and supporting civilian and contractor personnel continue to receive pay and allowances for active service performed when a Governmentwide shutdown occurs, and for other purposes.113th Congress (2013-2014)

TH House should pass a
“Fully Fund Social Security Payments”
bill, and have the Senate reject it.
well Jimmuh Carter was a posturing self righteous axxhole but he was NOT a deranged emotionally detached unstable illiterate narcissist like Obama
and congress democrats were a whole different breed back then, now they might as well be brown shirts for the disdain and even hatred have for over half the American public
So let me get this straight.
Our men and women in uniform, who put their lives on the line day-in and day-out for this country in accordance with a Constitutionally-defined function of government, are going to go without pay.
TSA workers, however, whose job consists of violating the United State Constitution on a daily basis, are going to keep getting their checks.
Something seems hugely amiss about that to me.
It’s not just pissing off active-duty, it’s also pissing off already angered veterans and military families who see OBayMe arming Al Qaeda in Syria. I call it politicians committing treason what do you call it besides vote them all out?
Dittos for his golf caddies and the poor guy who has to hold his umbrella for him. This is not going to end well.
Treason is a good term for it.
That sux for yours and mine!! Traitorous bastards!
To their credit, both my knee-jerk Obama-worshipping Senators have D.C. office staff that is both courteous and polite. I expect no action from either of them, but a tip of the cap to those who answered the phones.
Democrats HATE THE MILITARY and always have. If it were up to them they would not have any pay.
“The Senate acts as Obamas shield”
As well as, (among other things) his shill, beard and/or pimp!
RAT and RINO B@stards!
Has this been going on since 2011 or is this time a redo of the same Rat tactics?
