Some barricaded themselves in storerooms, while others hid in boxes or even played dead.
All were fleeing the bloody massacre unfolding around them as they saw terrified fellow shoppers mercilessly executed after being singled out as non-Muslim.
Men, women and children were lined up and then gunned down with AK-47s after failing to name the Prophet Mohammed’s mother or recite passages from the Koran – sure-fire proof they were ‘kafirs’, or non-believers.
Others fled and sought refuge in shops, bank vaults and store rooms as grenades exploded and bullets fired around them.
The fortunate ones managed to emerge blood-splattered and terrified, with the wounded pushed out in shopping trolleys.
Hannah Chisholm, 21, from Haslemere, Surrey, described the terror and confusion at the Westgate Mall, which she was visiting while on holiday.

Did they yell allah akbar? John McCain will tell you they were just saying “thank you” as Christians do. Isn’t that right, Sen. McCain? And we need to spend tax money arming these guys, right?

There is but one clear takeaway from this. Islam is a disease, plain and simple. There isn’t any nuance, or triangulation or anything substantively good about it; it is evil.
The second thing I take away from this in reading and viewing the entire Daily Mail article is how utterly inept and cowardly our own news media here in this country is, both the national and international versions.
The only time you see anything remotely related to timely on-the-scene reporting is when one of them gets killed or raped, or when they are safely tucked away from the trouble so they can pontificate about how “somehow this was caused by America.....” They are disgusting and make me ashamed that anyone who wants the truth has to leave our virtual shores (on the internet) to get it.
