You are indeed right, and I am wrong. He wasn’t Speaker.
But yes, he should have been. The Dems HATED him.
Sorry for the incorrect info.

No photoshop. That mug shot was cool. It irritated the scumbag Democrats no end.

proving that Austin is can truly be called the Big Blue Anus of TX.~SIGH~ So what you're saying is that if my wife and I wanted to maybe retire to that area (my wife thinks it's one of the prettiest parts of the state) and we were looking for some conservative values, (not to mention finding some conservative friends) we'd be out of luck?

They won, they took him out, and there is no remedy for that. I’m sure they’ll be happy to pay money as reparations just as they’d have been happy to pay DeLay to just resign in the first place. They wanted him gone and they got what they wanted.

Can't he still be Speaker even if he is not a House Member?
Sure would beat Boehner....
My mini Schnauzer and Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) would be better than Boehner.
Dougie and Mr. Wiggles would daily tear the Dems. a new one!

True. He was shockingly vilified by many here on FR. I was stunned at the time.

The court blasts the prosecutors! There should be disbarments in order for each of them.

Travis County (Austin) is the most liberal county in the state of Texas.

I'm seeing a trend here... look how they get progressively more liberal in their voting as time goes on...
Take a look at Comal/Blanco/kendall counties... solid conservative values, close to a big city like San Antonio, but the pretty views like Austin...

Next to be investigated and indicted after DA Ronnie Earle should be George Zimmerman's prosecutor and persecutor, Angela Corey, the corrupt Florida state's attorney in the Trayvon case whose nefarious attempts at railroading Zimmerman are well known here in the Sunshine State.
These two slimy practitioners of modern-day Inquisition-ism should be sentenced to life in the slammer, each sharing a cell with the other.
That would cause them more torture and punishment than Old Sparky could ever do.

“WTF took them so long?”
Texas has a whorehouse in it and it’s called Austin! Austin, Madison, Sacramento, you name it; they are all Marxist crap holes! Look at a political map of the country, it’s always blue around the state capitols.
To: ExSoldier
No.
This comes up a lot, people understandably think Wacko Lib Austin PROPER is the same thing as its surrounding communities are.
Actually, lots of FReepers in that area. Beyond the city limits of Austin, in small towns, suburbs and exurbs there are plenty of common sense conservative, ordinary Texas folk.
Pick your spot so that you will be surrounded mainly by such people, and I predict you will NOT regret moving to Texas OR to that area.
