Caption below picture I will not post
Above, a captive prepares to meet his fate. Describing the scene, the photographer said: 'That scene in Syria, that moment, was like a scene from the Middle Ages, the kind of thing you read about in history books'
Well, welcome to the world of Islamist still living in the 8th century...

the FBI found both side to be guilty
I dated a Serbian woman who says the same. She says that Balkan wars have a tendency to bring out the very worst in all sides. She also points out that our unsecured borders will lead to disaster.

We are on the wrong side in this fiasco. There is no right side in this fiasco.
Assad is marginally less horrible then the MB. It is like having to choose between Jason and Freddy.

I had a similar post pulled by the mods last week. Just told it like it is with no cursing and then it was gone.

Assad is an evil but predictable dictator. His predictability is why he is better. The best possible outcome is both sides die.

It’s okay is they feel it’s right to pull it. It won’t change how I and millions of others think.

This has all the makings of a biased CIA psyops planted article.
Here are two comments following the article:
The rebels are the terrorists, they have also beheaded a child (time released photos) but the media won't cover that.- dude219 , Utah, United States, 14/9/2013 03:08
You describe the victims as thugs and their murderers as fighters. Shame on you. - Hrothgar , Surrey, United Kingdom, 14/9/2013 03:04

"The captives, meanwhile, are understood to belong to the fearsome Shabiha ('ghosts') - thugs loyal to Assad who are said to roam the country massacring women and children" I will preface this with IF THIS IS TRUE: Beheading was too merciful for them. That being said, the rebels have their own "ghosts" who are most likely doing the same thing.

Note the one-sided Wikipedia entry for the Shabiha, the group in which these victims are alleged members: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shabiha
From day one, through all these articles, my BS meter has been telling me to lean toward Assad as the better party to govern Syria.

You know, I’ve got a feeling that both forces in this battle are made up of rotten @ssholes. I don’t care what happens to either side. Either way the average citizen is probably screwed.
Just another day in the Middle East. One group of jackasses trying to wrest power from another group of jackasses. And both of groups killing and maiming innocent people while they chase one another back and forth across the land.
Oh, and both groups hate your American guts.

Do stories like this harden opposition to the war or drive people to want to get involved?

"Trust us. We are the good guys. Watch us as we behead the enemy in front of children. Believe us, the people we are beheading are really bad people. I hope this inspires you to support our cause."
Then they run off and gas 1,400 people and blame it on the other side.
Based on this alone, I'm with your supposed enemy and against my own government that is training these savages.
To: driftdiver
Assad learned "Hama Rules" from his daddy.
Rule One: There are no rules.
Rule Two: Rule or Die.
Like I said, no sides here that we should be supporting.
