“He joins the list of Rubio, McCain and his girlfriend Lindsey, Flake, etc. of people I would never vote for.”
Not a big surprise, since Bush Sr. treats Bill Clinton like a son. Go away Bushes, Clintons, Carters.
We need some new real conservative blood.

A ‘liberty’ medal ‘awarded’ to a Clinton is on the same par as a ‘peace’ prize for Obama.
Globull garbage and not worth the toilet paper it's written on...

The recent past proves that it is entirely possible that in the next presidential line-up, it will be Republican Jeb vs. Democrat Hillary.
At which time, you'll be told that if you don't vote for Jeb, it's the same as voting for Hillary. Because you wouldn't be voting for Jeb, after all -- you'd be voting against Hillary!
Here in the trenches, old friends who are liberal-conservative who have avoided politics for years, suddenly finding themselves tentatively discussing and *gasp* agreeing on basic things like personal rights and the tyranny of government, though the liberal would never concede to any official affiliation with the Republican side, and the conservative so disgusted with the Republican side he could spit.
"But a third party will only help Democrats win!"
As if it matters with guys like Jeb and Mitt being the reward of Republican victory. It's exactly this sort of mentality that makes my Tao of Republican Orthodoxy brochure so subtly funny; on first glance people could mistake it for being pro-republican

Theres only one party in the United States. Jeb Bush ironically illustrates the intimate relationship between America's two political parties:
"What difference does it make?"

Tao, as Wikipedia says in its intro paragraphs, is:
a Chinese concept signifying 'way', 'path', 'route', or sometimes more loosely, 'doctrine' or 'principle', or as a verb, speak. Within the context of traditional Chinese philosophy and religion, Tao is a metaphysical concept originating with Laozi that gave rise to a religion and philosophy referred to in English with the single term Taoism. The concept of Tao was shared with Confucianism, Chán and Zen Buddhism and more broadly throughout East Asian philosophy and religion in general. Within these contexts Tao signifies the primordial essence or fundamental nature of the universe.
[…]
In all its uses, Tao is considered to have ineffable qualities that prevent it from being defined or expressed in words. It can, however, be known or experienced, and its principles (which can be discerned by observing Nature) can be followed or practiced.
IOW, the term is perfect for describing
why you should vote Republican
when the stated platform-planks and the actions the party puts forth are so wildly out of sync. (Seriously, what's the last time the Republican party vicariously pursued
anything in its platform-planks? I'd have to say the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban, which seems to have been more of a
feel-good law
than anything of consequence. [See Gnosell].)

Absolutely would not surprise me in the least. The RnR hall of fame is yet another award commandeered completely by the left which was made very blatant when they inducted karaoke lip-syncer Madonna into it solely for her leftist views.

Bushes and Clintons remembering the good times at Mena Airport. Isn't it amazing that there are still people out there who seriously believe that Bush and Clinton (and for that matter, most Republicans and their Democratic "rivals") represent two diametrically opposite, irreconcilable political ideologies, as opposed to being the two arms of a single creature?
