LABOR DAY TRADITION

Labor Day is a United States federal holiday observed
on the first Monday in September,
that celebrates the economic and social
contributions of workers.

Labor Day has come to be celebrated
by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer.

In U.S. sports, Labor Day marks the beginning of the NFL
and college football seasons.
NCAA teams usually play their first games
the weekend of Labor Day,
with the NFL traditionally playing
their first game
the Thursday following Labor Day.

Well, I probably have to "labor" on Labor Day, but We don't have any real traditions for this holiday. Lots of folks BBQ'ing and going to the beach though! (even though it's quite a drive to our Gulf Coast beaches from around here!) :)

Kathy they have been predicting rain for over a week & we’ve seen very little our way. Feeling cheated! LOL

Other parts of the valley have done well & that’s a good thing.
