Organizing for Action, the advocacy off-shoot of Obama's reelection campaign, has announced plans to copy the Tea Party and flood Congressional townhalls over the August recess. OFA's goal is to push House Republicans to support Obama's initiatives. The Left has spent years demonizing and attacking Tea Party activists. Now, they've decided to copy them.
“We are excited for OFA’s Action August where volunteers across the country will be taking all their incredible skills, hard work and passion into their communities, organizing events all month long to keep the pressure on their members of Congress to take action on issues, from comprehensive immigration reform to protecting women’s rights and gun violence prevention to combating climate change, OFA Spokesman Ben Finkenbinder said in a statement.
OFA is beginning its push on August 4th, the President's birthday, with events across the nation promoting the benefits of ObamaCare. Activists will distribute fliers, demonstrate at Congressional district offices and hold rallies. Each week, OFA will organize a different "day of action" focused on issues like immigration, gay marriage and climate change.

The tea party needs to be focusing its efforts on stopping any immigration bill in the House.

Local Pubbie: “Well let’s look at the facts of the financial burden ObamaCare will place not only on the Federal Budget but on every citizen in the United States.”
OFA Activist: “Uhhhhh...you rayciss!”
These people are assuming the Republicans are too stupid to recognize astroturf when they see it.
Volunteers? That’s doubtful.
There are a lot of things more important than the immigration bill, which - if you don’t like it now - is only going to get worse if Obama gets away with the rest of the things he’s been doing.
We need to get rid of Obamacare or make it so difficult that it cannot move ahead. We also need to investigate the IRS (enforcement arm of Obamacare) and get to the bottom of that and send people, including Obama, to jail. If Obama gets away with these things, we’ll lose all our liberties and we will never have a free or honest election again.
And we need to find out why the treasonous evil thing in the WH and his evil SOS were supporting and protecting the enemy in Benghazi.
They tried this last year and it flopped miserably.
OFA can’t be any more original than to copy the Tea Party.

Right—and the tea party IMO in response should not be picking a different issue each week, but it should be entirely focused on fighting any immigration bill in the House.

Nothing is more important than the immigration bill. Put an eventual 30 million new, low-skill, high-Democrat workers and their offspring into the American electoral system and all else is over.
Yeah, it would be nice to delay additional parts of Obamacare and cut the funding sooner or later, but that probably has to wait until the GOP retakes the Senate in 2014.
Stopping an immigration bill is the first, second and third priority this summer—and the August recess is the time to do it.
Don’t you think the part in immigration bill that prohibits prosecution of any illegal from fraud of papers and social security numbers means that if immigration is passed, Obama still gets away with evasions of truth?
Remember Julio, the McDonalds worker who had the on-camera orgasm at Obama’s town hall in Fort Myers?
We’ll be seeing a lot of that.

OFA is going to be acting like Hitler’s brownshirts, 0bama is already operating way outside the law or “above the law,” and the is the demonization of race component at work. Which is being used to tear down the existing justice system in case you don’t realize yet, that is the endgame they are playing for here.
