I am not an aeronautical engineer, nor a pilot, but that can’t be good.

As an expert, I can verify that it makes it hard to taxi to the gate.

Need that nose gear unless you’re landing a tail dragger. I hope everyone will be OK.

George Zimmerman saved all on board.

As an expert, I can verify that it makes it hard to taxi to the gate. Now see, that's what I love about FR! There are experts on almost every topic.
Seriously, praying for all involved. LGA is not a fun place even under the best of conditions.

George Zimmerman saved all on board. Matters not. They were all white.

Southwest had a phenomenal 40 plus year, billions of miles; record of never injuring a passenger.

After it came off.
It got switched out, someone went on break without remembering to ratchet on the new gear. Imagine landing a plane you THINK has wheels firmly down and the ripaway you feel. Whew.

Having owned a few small airplanes, I can assure you that one should never land with the nose wheel touching down first.
There is not that much holding them on.

I thought they ran off a runway in Chicago a few years ago... no injuries?
To: SMGFan
One report says it came off as plane was pulling into gate?

Southwest had a phenomenal 40 plus year, billions of miles; record of never injuring a passenger. Sure. But don't be at the end of the runway.
