WASHINGTON With major battles looming in the fall over the federal budget and the debt ceiling, President Barack Obama is trying to regain the initiative, embarking on a campaign-style tour of the Midwest this week to lay out his agenda for reinvigorating the nations economy, administration officials said Sunday.
Obamas offensive will begin Wednesday in Galesburg, Ill., with what his aides are saying will be a major address on economic policy at Knox College. Officials declined to provide details of the presidents message, but said he would set his terms for what they expect will be another bruising battle with a Republican-controlled House over the nations fiscal policies.
White House officials liken Wednesdays speech to one he gave in 2011 in Osawatomie, Kan., where he articulated the theme of economic inequality in American society that became a leitmotif of his re-election campaign; and one at Georgetown University soon after taking office in 2009, when he talked about how the American economy would recover from the Great Recession.

Well, by definition, it does not -- it's perpetual. ;-)
"Like a laser..."
He’s had the same plan for decades - “End capitalism; raise taxes”.
I guess the existing agenda isn’t working anymore.
Just preparing themselves for prison life.
Great, another big batch of drivel and bullsh-- heading down the pike again.
He’s going to propose that all women between the ages of 10 and 30 prostitute themselves and give the Feds a cut of the take.
Is he going to resign?
Didn’t this administration already tell us we are in the “summer of recovery” like three times already.....
Nawwww...he’s speaking at a college...they haven’t learned about pensions yet.
At a college, he’ll tell them that he’s going to forgive their student loan debt.
Poof!
Suddenly the college kids will love him again (after being mad about the whole NSA reading their texts thing).
Another headline you have to doublecheck to make sure it’s satire as it seems. But, it’s not.

This Wednesday, the President will kick off a series of speeches that will lay out his vision for rebuilding an economy that puts the middle class and those fighting to join it front and center.
Here, I’ve got a speech for him:

The old roads and bridges theme should do it!
Holding my breath for such catch phrases as “ investing in the future” and “shared sacrifice”. What a dick.
Perhaps he can explain to the middle class why he’s been delaying thousands of Keystone Pipeline jobs...
