Weeks after the fiery death of investigative journalist Michael Hastings , who was probing abuses by the CIA and NSA and had recently informed others that he was being investigated by federal authorities, suspicions about his mysterious car crash are still swirling around the Internet. While police officially ruled the death an “accident,” serious questions are still surfacing — even in the establishment media and among prominent officials. Based on e-mails Hastings sent out shortly before he died about working on a “big story” and needing to go “off the radar,” it has become clear that he was worried, too.
Hastings, who wrote for Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, Gawker, and other publications, was probably best known for his award-winning 2010 article “The Runaway General.” The piece helped bring down U.S. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, commander of American and NATO forces in Afghanistan. Despite his establishment credentials and what analysts called his “Democrat-friendly” reporting, Hastings had become extremely alarmed about the “surveillance state” and other troubling developments in recent months. 1. Keep a full diary of activities that multiple co-workers have easy access to.

I don’t remember it that way. But maybe so. The converse of what you said can be true also. Some people just ‘know’ some conspiracy occurred. Same for this new one. I say both cases look suspicious and should be investigated.

Glenn Beck was talking on his radio show this morning about the Michael Hastings death.
No skid marks on the roadway, and Glenn Beck mentioned that witnesses saw one or two explosions BEFORE the Mercedes hit the palm tree.
Glenn also mentioned that someone videotaped the whole incident. Glenn asked, “Who’s out in the street at 4:20 AM taking videos?” Bizarre.
A guy I know who plays in a rock band says you can always tell where the CIA is most active on the globe currently by what drugs are most available in US cities (with the implication being that the drugs’ availability indicates the CIA’s presence, not vice versa).
[For the record, I am in good health, and not feeling suicidal.]

Anybody who has information that volatile and has not made provisions for its automatic release upon death is a total fool.
