There are of course many lies that the media have circulated about the Trayvon Martin case, and among them is one put out by a Daily Beast writer, Matthew DeLuca, that says George Zimmerman was so racist he once called police to report a 7-9 year old black boy as suspicious. During the uproar last year, many people screaming on the internet for Zimmerman's arrest brought that "fact" up, but it was a complete and seemingly shameless lie by DeLuca, who works now, ironically, for NBC News. The fact that he could put forward and get away with such a lie, which played a small but definite part in the hysteria, really shows the degenerate and dishonest state of the media today.
DeLuca wrote two stories, both posted March 22, 2012, about George Zimmerman's 911 call history. In both cases, he suggests that the record of the call about the boy suggests Zimmerman was suspicious of him and it was because of his race. This is despite the fact that the outside sources DeLuca links to in the story - a Seminole County list of codes for emergency calls, and the call record generated by the police department in this instance - both together clearly show that Zimmerman called because he was concerned that the boy was walking alone on a busy street. Here is DeLuca's reporting on the call in one of the articles:
"But starting in 2011, Zimmermans calls increasingly focused on what he considered suspicious characters walking around the neighborhoodalmost all of whom were young black males.
"On April 22, 2011, Zimmerman called to report a black male about 7-9 years old, four feet tall, with a skinny build and short black hair. There is no indication in the police report of the reason for Zimmermans suspicion of the boy."
Did Trayvon Shooter Abuse 911? (March 21, 2012)
To the contrary. There is actually no legitimate reason for DeLuca to say that Zimmerman was suspicious of the boy. Although written in an abbreviated form, the police report clearly states that the boy was walking along a busy street and Zimmerman was concerned.

"COMPL ADVD S43 IS WALKING ALONE & IS NOT SUPERVISED ON BUSY STREET//COMPL CONCERNED FOR WELL BEING"
"S2512 CL - 1017'D THE AREA W/NEG RESULTS"
In the second article, "George Zimmerman's History of 911 Calls: A Complete Log," DeLuca categorizes the call as about "suspicious activity":
36. April 22, 2011 7:09 p.m. Type: TEL Subject: Suspicious activity Report: Juvenile black male apprx 79 years old, four feet tall skinny build short blk hair last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and blue shorts
George Zimmermans History of 911 Calls: A Complete Log
His source for categorizing all the calls is the Seminole County 10-Codes and Signals page, which he links to. In the other article, he links to a now-removed page where Sanford Police had posted Zimmerman's call history.
911CallHistory-George-Zimmerman.pdf
That history shows that the code for the call wasn't the code number for "suspicious activity" (13), but the number 17, which means "Attempt to contact," which the call record shows the police tried to do. Note also that DeLuca quotes from the call record: "Juvenile black male apprx 79 years old, four feet tall skinny build short blk hair last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and blue shorts."
After looking over the evidence, there can be no question that DeLuca fabricated this claim about Zimmerman consciously and deliberately. The only question is why. In any case, it is travesty that his lie has gone unpunished and he has moved on to NBC News.

At the rate it’s going now, his lawyers would be fools to let him testify. The state has not met their burden of proof as yet. You only put the defendant on the stand if they are losing badly and it’s your last hope to testify. He could only do himself harm by testifying.
hope when trial is over many in the news are sued!
The state has strengthened the story of G.Z. In fact the state has done a find job for the defense.
Then whoever laid out the security cameras is stupid. That’s the whole point of having the stickers on the doorways: To be able to accurately scale the pictures of perps as they head out the door.
We can see he towered over the guy behind the cash register.
This coming from a ‘creepy ass cracker’ reporter!
Maybe black conservatives should start refering to white limousine liberals as “creepy ass crackers”. Pure Alinsky.
The PATHETIC LEFT’S has only lies to rely on trying to bend the facts to fit their DELUSION OF A RACIST MOTIVE for the shooting, where none exists. It’s no different than the lies they have to make in defense of their AGW scam.

Actually, the fomenting of discontent and then the coverage of it, and the full-blown coverage of disasters large and small, trials of pretty murderesses, and the like are what FUND their ability to spread their ideology! They have it both ways.
The Los Angeles Times has laid off at least 11 employees Friday as it seeks to reduce head count in advance of a potential sale.
. . . and I would say so, even if Zimmerman is (heaven forefend) found guilty. For NBC and their patently tendentious editing of the Zimmerman hotline call in particular, that is such a slam-dunk that NBC is guilty even if Zimmerman were also held to be guilty. But the big picture is that journalism as a whole is the perpetrator of a fraud against Zimmerman - but also against you and me because he is being branded a white conservative, even tho he is neither. That explains why the case matters to us. And it is indeed possible and legitimate to sue journalism as a whole. Simply sue the Associated Press and its membership. IMHO that is the crucial step in counterattacking the liberal propaganda machine, because otherwise the individual target you sue will successfully claim that it relied on the rest of journalism as its source in general.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations (Book I, Ch 10)Instead of calling it the MSM, call it wire service journalism. Because the wire services represent a continuous virtual meeting of all major news outlets in the country. According to Adam Smiths dictum above, the Associated Press must, after a century and a half, be little else but a conspiracy against the public.
Legal experts on TV are PAID by the network and not the defendant. O’Mara and West rresent GZ. What happens in the courtroom counts and not what the TV boobs say.
Thanks for posting. Will be shared.
Shame on you, DeLuca, for using your position within the press to libel Zimmerman.
If Zimmerman is found not guilty, race riots have already been promised.
Nice going, sparky - you and your fellow propagandists are a big part of the problem in which we find our society.
Pro-PAGAN-dists.
A Miami Herald article said he was 6’3”. That’s consistent with the picture of him at the counter with the 5’10” clerk.
There will be a riot even if he is convicted. . .”they” (Holder’s people) will riot because they can, because they will be celebrating “getting even,” and if that means rioting and hurting innocent (mostly White) people, so much the better.
And the MSM will blame it all on “institutionalized racism” of the White population or some other such nonsense.
