STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.
Mr. Gomez is just another RINO from Texachusetts. Just like the last RINO, Mr. Brown.
I read somewhere WSJ? that the Republicans are not supporting this RINO with $$$. Somewhere else I read that “conservatives” are not cumming in with financial support either.
Maybe there is no “conservative” money going to the current Texachusetts RINO because of the bad experience with the last RINO from there.
Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me !
There is one solution the administration will never do. Drill our own oil just as fast as we can so we can tell the mid-east to keep their blood oil.
You mean like the one that was voted down last week in the Senate to at least build another 350 miles of the 700 miles of fencing already authorized. The bill where we have only built 37 miles of so far? That one?
Time? NSA has some of the biggest supercomputers on the planet. They can process a huge amount of information in a very short time. They can use key words and other algorithms to separate the wheat from the chaff. They will listen to your conversation with Aunt Mabel if what you are talking about triggers the system to spit it out.
Is anyone surprised that the Gov monitors things? We all do. Everyone peeks out the window and susses the neighbors. I do not find that shocking
How can you equate the government and its huge resources with a nosy neighbor? We have something called a Constitution that is supposed to protect us from unreasonable search and seizure by the government.
Also of note is that the law will not require illegals to get on obamacare under penalty of law, but it will force Americans workers to and it will force American employers to deal with it.
What do ya suppose will happen?
I am guessing that illegals will replace American workers.
Why do we offer non citizens more freedom from penury than Americans?
I have finally realized that politicians who stay in politics, especially the same office, can't be or remain conservative. They have to like big government in order to stay. So Lindsey is not acting out of place, he's suffering from the same case of chronic rectal/cranial inversion that all long-term politicians suffer from, which make them think that they are the answer, even if they don't know what the question is.
The only politicians worth electing are people who are willing to self-impose term limits and then go back home when their time is up; not stay in the DC Court of St James to be a lobbyist or Fox New contributor. It's the major difference between the people who founded this country and current cast of clowns; the founders wanted to go home, so they stopped arguing and moved forward.
It’s probably lost on most of the American people, but one of the major methods of control over the people employed by the Soviets and their satellites in the 20th century, was to make “laws” and rule-making complex and deliberately tiresome—with lengthy decrees subject to interpretations that could only be made by political officers (commisars), the people we today call community organizers or cabinet officers.
So, for immigration “reform” what do we get? Today we get 23 pounds of paperwork that no one can read much less digest, and just as was true with Obamacare, “we have to pass it to find out what’s in it,” meaning the SEIU and Sothern Poverty Law Center of Janet Napolitano will tell us what’s what when the time comes.
There is no corruption like communist corruption.
I think you meant Taxachusettes
We have a surplus in Texas
They took two planes a 707 and 747 removed the sets and flew dozens of missions into Damascus with barrels full of poisonous gas.
this is the gas we are worried about today in Syria. Its insecure, unstable, volatile and who knows what condition the barrels are in today.
Just one more reason to stay the hell out of there.
Yes, indeed!
Crowley even tried to say Clapper didn’t lie and Rand Paul pointed out he even admitted he lied. You could tell she doesn’t like Paul.
Separate the Wheat from the Chaff?
Snowden is all chaff.
This fellow is a red herring.
Look at the time folks are wasting on this ahole.
Snowden is being made an enemy of the state because he is an enemy of the state.
He is trying to bring discredit on the US, and he is revealing means and methods.
He would testify that we are all pricks for keeping an ear perked.
Effa Snowden
You also need a serious fence and the will to enforce border security. None of which is on the horizon.Such lack of sincerity on the part of Congress can only be explained by corruption on a massive scale, IMHO.I find no other explanations.
If they're Mexicans, they have no business voting in the US.
The Reps who support this bill are doing so because of the guest worker programs. The number of guest workers is doubled under this bill giving big business and big agriculture more cheap labor to depress wages further and increase their bottom line. These corporate interest are huge donors to both parties. Reps like Graham are willing to do the bidding of their corporate masters even if it means destroying the country.
When you have the Koch brothers, Murdoch, the American Chamber of Commerce, et. al., joining forces with the labor unions, La Raza, Soros, Obama, Schumer, and Durbin, it is obvious that our political and corporate elites have reached a consensus on what is best for us.
Good!
May the hog have indigestion for a month.
This thing just gets more convoluted as we go along.
How dare you advocate enforcing laws already on the books, takes away all the fun that Congress has.
Just saw Lindsey Graham on FNC. By the time he was done explaining all the wonderful things that the 1,200 page immigration bill will do, the only thing left to say was, “It’s a floor cleaner, and a dessert topping.” He really needs to leave quietly and take John McCain with him..
If one reads the Constitution, it is obvious they did not intend for anchor babies to be given citizenship.
