When they start the apology tour, they are finished, because one apology is never enough.

How do Repubs run against this?
==
One way might be to start standing for something. The GOP has gotten so wishy-washy that they stand for nothing. And what they say they are for today is subject to change tomorrow.

Exactly you don't draft a 1,000 page documents that will be put into U.S. law overnight. Just does not happen. And all the rumors about our guys
in dem war rooms aiding in writing law, that is just way over the pale.
We need to do a better job of vetting these clowns and be very careful who we support and who we don't from now on. These clowns need to learn that we can just as easily break them as make them.

You’re absolutely right.
It is laughable when these fools claim that government lacks time to listen to all these calls.
That is where the money does, listeners, analyists, etc.

Exactly Tom!
I had a buddy that went fishing in the Gulf of Mexico last Wednesday. He started catching permit.A sought after game fish here. Meanwhile, 300 lb. bull sharks started eating them before he got them to the boat
. Even the ones he released were eaten.
Finally, he had to stop fishing for them or watch them all get eaten.
Moral of the story, once blood is in the water the sharks are never satisfied.

WSJs Saturday headline tossed cold water on the immigration bill's passage.
One can only hope. Before I totally give up on Congress, I guess it's time to make another push tomorrow and bug some senators. I am weary of how they are working against Americans' interest anymore.

Any chance you can run Gowdy against goober?I hope so. Why not write a letter to Trey encouraging him to do that? We need all the help we can get. Linda's biggest advantage is 5.4mil in campaign funds. A lot of that came from big pocket, out of state money.

......Reps like Graham are willing to do the bidding of their corporate masters even if it means destroying the country.
When you have the Koch brothers, Murdoch, the American Chamber of Commerce, et. al., joining forces with the labor unions, La Raza, Soros, Obama, Schumer, and Durbin, it is obvious that our political and corporate elites have reached a consensus on what is best for us.
Absolutely spot on, kabar. The people will be the ones who suffer. WE will pay for their gain.

The article repeats Boehner’s statement to the effect, he would not consider even a vote unless his majority were in favor. And, they are not.

Reps like Graham are willing to do the bidding of their corporate masters even if it means destroying the country. Are you sure it is their "corporate masters" who are driving this deal.
What particular special interest has a particularly special interest about keeping the border open?
What particular special interest has particularly large sums of money to spread around?
What particular special interest will stop at nothing to achieve their aims?
If you answered "drug cartels", you share my suspicions.

I am not defending Snowden. He deserves to be prosecuted The question here is:
Did he betray the American people...or did he betray the tyrannical Executive Branch?

What makes Republicans(rinos in the Senate) enter into a deal with dems that will permanently make them an underclass in votes, tank the economy, increase unemployment, decrease wages, and go against the wishes of their electorate? Just to name a few of the many problems with the amnesty bill. Is there any other answer other than political corruption, our elected reps taking money or other goodies?
rodguy911, there is another obvious answer to your question. It will cripple the Conservative ideology through dilution, something both political parties want. An already big government will grow even bigger and more powerful, with nothing to stand in it's way, or so the pro-amnesty crowd thinks.
When looking at the likely actual numbers involved here (versus the artificially low numbers being used by the proponents), if implemented, odds increase we could witness our government collapse under it's own weight.

I am 55 yr old High School dropout who got a GED at 16, enlisted in the USAF at 17 (with a top secret clearance) and went to college at 21. Guess I can’t find my way out of a paper sack. Oh and I was in computers making $64, 000.00 a year in 1999.
