Any chance you can run Gowdy against goober?
I think like you. The only thing that bother me is his alliances with Russia or Venezuela, true enemies of the US.
Sadly his numbers do not appear to have plunged except with us.Probably more a function of LIVs than anything else.
Tell me about it.
I can’t get my family here.
NO. I think Snowden is de nutting the NSA.
bingo.
I agree that it is most likely corruption. Our political/corporate elites have lost touch with the rest of us. They are post-American when it comes to their world view. And there appears to be no political price to pay.
The federal government controls 25% of our GDP and state, county, and local government another 20% or so. Crony capitalism has become predominant. There is a symbiotic relationship between the government and the corporate world--similar to what Ike warned us about re the military industrial complex.
Government can make or break an industry thru regulations and laws. In turn, corporations can influence those regulations and laws via political contributions. And the entrenched government bureaucracy thru public unions can make or break their political masters who are transient. It is no coincidence that the DC metro area is the richest in the nation and virtually unaffected by recessions and economic downturns.
In addition to money, the attraction to power and control motivates many of these politicians who think that the people work for them and not the other way around. Many probably detest the American public whom they view as just pawns and rubes who can be easily fooled and led. Until we start holding them accountable, I see little that will change their behavior. Obamacare was shoved down our throats and now they are using the same model for amnesty. You won't know what is in the bill until it is passed.
I am not defending Snowden. He deserves to be prosecuted, but I am disturbed by his disclosures.
Truth is however, she played it all wrong.
She employed the Trent Lott defense of cry babying/multiple apologies which just empower all the wrong commies. She basically appealed to the DBM to save her grits(with plenty of butter).
The result? The drivebys smelled blood in the water and they ate her in one quick bite.
If she had gone on the offensive and kicked some ass for wrongly being portrayed as a racist she would still be on the air.
The hard left responds to weakness as do vampires and sharks which they are closely related to.
Like the Duke said, “Never apologize, it’s a sign of weakness.”
This goes far beyond the NSA.
Thanks very much. I'm ready to start holding them accountable.
Gotcha,I think we also need to remember that this is a 29 year old high school drop-out. Chances that he does everything right are small.
Exactly, keep the blood loss small when you swim with sharks in the water and Dracula on the land.
It is amazing how they re-use the same ole song-and-dance acts, speeches, teary-eyed stories, shell games.
They are using the same rhetoric from the Bush2 era and the 3 attempts to pass comprehensive immigration then.
Secure the border, learn English, pay a fine, go to the end of the line, yada yada yada.
The only things that change are the new regulations buried deep within the document and/or its amendments.
This is Senator Schumer's version of "transparency."
I wonder how long it took to write this "amendment." I think we are being played for suckers. Both parties had this drafted and held it for the opportune time to give political cover for more Reps to vote for the bill. First, they had to go thru the contrived theatrics of condemning the bill because it did not do enough for border security and the voila, at the last minute, they come with a "fix" to make the bill sound.
