Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didnt want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built.
The 54-39 vote to reject the fence shows the core of the immigration deal is holding. The vote broke mostly along party lines, though five Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio and the rest of the bills authors, voted against the fence, and two Democrats voted for it.

Listening to Hannity talk about these votes now.
His attempts to rationalize Rubio's votes are painful to listen to.

I agree with you. I do think if amnesty gets rammed down our throats(against the will of the majority), we will see pretty quickly just how much evil Americans will tolerate.

What a blatant transparently duplicitous liar.

Just gets worse and worse, doesn’t it? The wonderful immigration advocates are angry about any attempt to control the border.
Soon the pos criminals from other countries will be your fellow citizens only with more rights than you, as protected minorities.

Rubio has promised the demopub machine a vast swath of predictable and compliant government dependents. And all it requires is the death of the nation. Almost a no-brainer for them.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero ...and so it goes....up next, the Feral Nation of city states, walled neighborhoods with armed patrols, failed public services, infrastructure and entitlements with a zero balance no longer able to keep the horde of takers at bay. But the GOPe will still have great looking lawns and dust free living rooms...for a little while longer...
We have fundamentally changed. You know...Mexico R Us.

Once professional politicians learn what the real game is, they fall in line. And their bank accounts grow.
