Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didnt want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built.
The 54-39 vote to reject the fence shows the core of the immigration deal is holding. The vote broke mostly along party lines, though five Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio and the rest of the bills authors, voted against the fence, and two Democrats voted for it.

These dishonest SOB's will not he happy with anything less then full blown amnesty. They will continue to put a pretty pink ribbon on this package; in the end once they pass the bill, like Obamacare, we'll find out what's inside and it will be nothing good for the American people.
If these sellouts want to give this nation to the Mexicans, we the people will have to stand by and watch because the politician's in Washington are dead set on doing nothing but that and everything else going on right now is just a smokescreen.

We’ll see if CW-II turns out to be cheaper than that fence...senate.
The U.S. Senate - the world’s most repulsive, septic, and loathsome (un)deliberative body.
Critters all, and destined to be treated as such.

They will not be happy until we have so many terrorists here that daily murderous attacks can be used to ram through the most repressive laws the world has ever seen.

Someone help me with the history, here. When did the Dems control of Congress? (Not a rhetorical question, wondering if this story is a before or after thing).

shocker. secure the border, nope. amnesty, yep.
why doesn’ t someone just say we will enat the exact same immigration laws that mexico’s constitution has, and the same laws for foreigners that mexico has. we will treat them exactly how they treat foreigners. total reciprocity.
i would be for that.

Our politicians have sold us out. They have cheapened the value of American citizenship.
If they lived along the border and their kids had to attend public schools in the area, you better believe that they would build a fence.
