Holder: Let’s not do that whole subpoena thing, eh?

Clearly we won’t need to go to such great lengths as to subpoena Eric Holder in order to get him to give up the goods. Why? Because he managed to cut a deal.

Attorney General Eric Holder has agreed to meet with House Republicans as part of their probe into whether he misled Congress or acted inappropriately in the Justice Department’s investigation of two separate leaks to media outlets.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) made the announcement late Friday after exchanging several weeks worth of testy letters with the nation’s top cop.

In agreeing to meet with the lawmakers, Holder staved off the threat of a subpoena from Goodlatte for a second time in as many weeks. The last time Goodlatte requested some answers from the Attorney General, he received a note from one of Holder’s deputies, Peter Kadzik, for his trouble. That almost resulted in a subpoena right there, but Holder is still managing to hold them off. The polite atmosphere isn’t carrying over to everyone on the Hill, though. Yesterday the President received a bit of a love note from a number of members of Congress who have clearly exhausted their patience.

If the Jesse Jackson defense gambit flies, then Holder will be the next to be afflicted.

Will obama and co. use holder for cannon fodder? Or, will obama run interference for holder because holder knows too much, and would roll over on obama in a second to save his own ass? These clowns think that they are safe. They are safe, for now, and that will only get them so far, until the SHTF.

Not only will you have to subpoena Holder you will have to have a big galvanized washtub for waterboarding to get the truth out him. Nobody tortures the truth more in this administration than Holder.

Holder should be rendered completely uselss by subpoenaing him every single week for the rest of Obama's term or until he resigns.

Haul his sorry, Marxist, traitorous a$$ before congress and a Judge each and every week. with all that has gone on, there is plenty of material to do it, and the Republicans have the power in the Congress to do so.

But that would require leadership, patriotism, and a spine...all of which Boehner seems to be in a decided lack of.

Just delaying the subpoena. They are hoping all the scandals will be lost in the newest info. Pigs.

".....Holder has agreed to meet with House Republicans......"

"Meet" with them?

Will he be under oath like if it was an official hearing? So what is it, a "meet" or a hearing?

(Not that oaths mean anything to Obama scum-bags).

Will he be sworn in? Not that it matters since muzzies are required to lie to infidels.

Holder has already lied before Congress. Why would they ever speak to him without him being under oath?

With all holder has done/perpetrated, Republicans refuse to take the gloves off on him.
Boehner and company (GOP leadership) are a sad joke on us.

we are contributing to it by giving support to the republican party which treats conservatism like a bastard step-child.

It’s refreshing to hear Paul and Cruz and a few committee members, but they are not running the party.

We keep doing the same thing and we keep getting the same results ever since 84.

It’s time to move on and I don’t mean dot org.

The only reason I'm still a Republican is to vote for the most conservative candidate in primaries and I mean it's the ONLY reason.

They no longer call or send me donation request after the last few replies and phone conversations :)

Iran “negotiates” the same way. Slow-walk the other side the whole time, then hand over one little sheet of paper or make some lie-filled speech to show “good faith”, repeat.

I have now concluded voting for republicans is harmful to the country.

After your conservative candidate loses in primaries why stay with the repubs.

Looking for a party to support of get behind a new conservative party.
