CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson revealed in May that her computer had been compromised. When asked about the situation, CBS News responded with a statement that it was conducting an investigation.
That investigation has reached the following conclusions, according to CBS News spokeswoman Sonya McNair:
“A cyber security firm hired by CBS News has determined through forensic analysis that Sharyl Attkisson’s computer was accessed by an unauthorized, external, unknown party on multiple occasions late in 2012. Evidence suggests this party performed all access remotely using Attkisson’s accounts. While no malicious code was found, forensic analysis revealed an intruder had executed commands that appeared to involve search and exfiltration of data.

I suspect she has shown them what she wants to show them. I suspect she has a lot of raw data, not yet incorpoorated into her writings. Just a thought.
I want Obama to be impeached if he has broken our laws..... And we know he has. That is what I mean by justice. The law breakers in government should be held to account. How do you reign in someone who has an administration that lies and breaks the law, an out of control government, a complicit opposition party and a corrupt media?

If she has stuff she doesn't want them to see, she wouldn't be keeping it on her "work" computer. Even in BYOD environments, company policy will dictate that they can monitor and interrogate any computer connected to their internal network. They don't need to hide it.

Gotta love that “to our knowledge” line. I think the NSA is using it, too. They aren’t flat out denying doing it,,,but are leaving themselves an out in case it’s proven they did it. Then they can use the “low-level flunkies in Cincinnati” defense. And isn’t the CBS honcho married to one of His Majesty’s advisors? So we will probably never see this connected to the WH.
I think you are right. She was reported to be in negotiations regarding her job. I do not know anything specific....just speculating.

I wonder this all the time, except i usually think of 1930s Germany. We are surely living in an historical time. And if the fascists win, this era will not be portrayed accurately in history books.

To be honest, I thought they were imaginary as well until my IT-professor friend(who has had to help dig me out of my computer troubles many times) told me otherwise and that it most likely was breached at the Homeland Security level. And then when the critical emails started disappearing altogether and the files had double the size added to them so that they froze up my computer any time I worked with them... it was easy for me to see that the monkey business was real. They don’t like me outing Bob Bauer’s criminality and they don’t like me contacting Mike Zullo.
My extended family will probably never believe that the stuff on the news has anything to do with what I’ve been experiencing. If what I was doing had any merit the conservative media would have reported on it, they think. These breaches may seem like no big deal until it’s understood that the victims have not only had their privacy breached but have also been disbelieved and/or demonized by even their closest friends and family members. This regime is all about tearing people apart and making us unable to believe anything or anyone. It tears at the very fabric that has made us not only Americans but also family, friends, and neighbors. It seeks to destroy America at the level where she has always been the strongest.
What they are doing comes straight from the pit of Hell.
If it is discovered that someone did do it, they need to be put in charge of investigating themselves for it so we can get to the bottom of it.

0bama wanted to know who was giving her information on Benghazi and he used the NSA to find out. NOT for security reasons, but to save his AZZ politically! Also, to try and get her personal information (Emails, etc) for blackmailing her to shut up on Benghazi!
The Justice Department issued this statement not long after Attkisson’s claims:
To our knowledge, the Justice Department has never compromised Ms. Attkisson’s computers, or otherwise sought any information from or concerning any telephone, computer, or other media device she may own or use.
IOW, they did it.
I’m sure the President of CBS (David Rhodes) will get to the bottom of this. Oh wait, he’s the brother of Benjamin Rhodes, top adviser to 0bama! Ain’t gonna happen.
Recently the idiot communist party member of Congress , Maxine Waters, stated in an interview that Obama was developing a data base of everyone in the USA.
There are also the facts that Romney’s donor list was given to a far left organization….and published. And then there was the statement by Hairy Reid on the floor of the Senate of Romney never paid taxes.
A congressman has been advised by a Democrat operative that Obama got and perhaps used incriminating information on Chief Justice Roberts reportedly the day before his abrupt change in his vote for Obozocare. This whole information mining scandal should make Americans blood boil with intense hatred against this evil regime.
Few of us understand what has been under construction in the Utah desert and is due to begin operations this fall. It is over 1 million square feet of various structures that will house the world’s most gigantic computer system designed solely to collect information on Americans.
Where’s Congress?
