CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson revealed in May that her computer had been compromised. When asked about the situation, CBS News responded with a statement that it was conducting an investigation.
That investigation has reached the following conclusions, according to CBS News spokeswoman Sonya McNair:
A cyber security firm hired by CBS News has determined through forensic analysis that Sharyl Attkissons computer was accessed by an unauthorized, external, unknown party on multiple occasions late in 2012. Evidence suggests this party performed all access remotely using Attkissons accounts. While no malicious code was found, forensic analysis revealed an intruder had executed commands that appeared to involve search and exfiltration of data.

This is going to get very interesting,Fast and Furious scared the crap out of Holder and he used any means to find out who was leaking.
Seems unlikely CBS would need to do this. They probably have access to her backups and would get whatever data they wanted off of those a lot easier.
If CBS News' contractor was able to discover the unauthorized access, it would appear that "all possible indications" were not in fact removed.
Now they feel violated. Had they done their jod in 2008 rather than get in bed with zer0 this would not have happened
If I was a company, i’d be getting the whole place checked out, who knows who has been running round your business.
Perhaps she wasn’t repeating the WH talking points correctly?
Pray for America to Wake Up
Apparently not well enough.
Puts CBS in a bad spot - they don’t want to hurt the corrupt one(s) they love... Could democrats be using the FBI and Homeland Security for spying on ‘extremists (their political opponents)? Bet your life on it. Even if it’s technically in a different office - we know where the expertise came from...
Were I Sharyl Atkisson, I’d have two computers: one online and one not, with a stick as the go-between. They could know what I’m looking at, but not what I’m saying about it. That would preclude them from having their damage control strategy ready before I published.
I owe you a public apology. You’ve made claims for a long time that your personal computers were being hacked and I rolled my eyes about it. Most people’s computer troubles are of their own making. I assumed that was the case with you, butter. I apologize. This CBS revelation together with the NSA email collection leads me to believe that your computer problems could very well be malicious in nature. So I apologize to you for doubting you and rolling my eyes.

Ha Ha! To use all those Snowden hit pieces they’ve already written up or not to. What a dilemma for CBS.
and now you see why they want everyone to upload their stuff onto this Cloud thing.......not a chance i ever will.
WH will send all the news that’s fits their prints to owners of obami-fones!
Some software will soon be unavailable except via the cloud. Adobe is going there now. I hope it flops.
Don’t be so sure. .looks as though many companies are in cahoots with them
.
Hmmmmm......unknown my ass. This administration is completely out of control....yet no one does a thing...not a darn thing!
Well, how silly! We already know that nobody did it and that nobody knows nothin’ and that nobody authorized it. Blah, blah
It’s obvious that Obama’s thugs did this. Yet again, if the Bush administration had done this, the Left would be screaming like Banshees about a constitutional crisis. If they don’t start screaming so now, it’s time to protest at their TV station affiliates all over the U.S. to show them that the angry mob is gathering.
