Presidential aides are privately admitting to a growing frustration inside the White House with Attorney General Eric Holder’s political ineptness in the press leak investigations and are hoping the embattled appointee will resign from office, The New York Times reports.
“The White House is apoplectic about him, and has been for a long time,” said an anonymous Democrat source, identified only as a former government employee who acknowledged the White House staffers in question are his friends.
President Barack Obama’s advisers are frustrated with Holder’s inability to foresee problems arising from his approval of a subpoena naming a Fox News reporter as a coconspirator in an espionage investigation. Now Congress is looking at whether Holder lied under oath when he testified last month that he knew nothing about the incident.

If valjar appoints a special prosecutor the IRS scandal goes away.Problem is what takes its place? Benghazi,amnesty,other scandals,they don’t want syria any more on the front page than it already is perhaps the scandal they know is better than the scandal they don’t know. They may have figured out how to play us and are worried that the special prosecutor could blow up in about a year, bad timing.
If Obama finally does decide to jettison Holder, he can dust off Nixon's speech of April 30, 1973, announcing the resignation of Haldeman and Ehrlichman, "two of the finest public servants I have been privileged to know" (or something very similar).
If Holder does go, it will be further grist for the MSM theme that opposition to Obama is all about race. Conservatives just want Holder out because he's black, not because he's incompetent, dishonest, racist, and hyperpartisan.

Why do democrats completely disregard fidelity to the Constitution? They could not care less about truth, the Constitution, or decency. They care only about, (as Anita Dunn said) THE POWER OF PERSUASION.They are truly on par with communists and malevolent dictators.

They need to find a way to blame the racist right for the removal of the black man. So Obama will do nothing until that time.
Holder doesn’t just get to walk away. He is the nation’s top law enforcement official. The only way he should get to walk away without prison time is if he gives up Hillary or Jarrett or both.
