Issa: Carney Is A 'Paid Liar'

By Katrina Trinko June 2, 2013 9:25 AM Comments 0

Representative Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight committee, called White House press secretary Jay Carney a “paid liar” in an interview today.

Issa, who is involved in the investigation of the IRS’s decision to target tea-party groups, was blunt about his belief that most likely the employees in the Cincinnati IRS offices were acting on orders from WAshington, D.C.

“The administration is still — their paid liar, their spokesperson, picture behind,” Issa said on CNN’s State of the Union this morning, where the set has a picture of Carney behind host Candy Crowley, “he’s still making up things about what happen[ed] and calling this local rogue.”

“The reason that Lois Lerner tried to take the fifth [amendment] is not because there’s a rogue in Cincinnati,” he added. “It’s because this is a problem that was coordinated. in all likelihood, right out of Washington headquarters.”

Obama’s IRS rigged election for Obama and democrats/socialists by preventing conservative groups from getting started, auditing individual Romney donors.

Obama used the IRS and other agencies to rig and steal the election of 2012. We no longer live in a free country

Abolish the IRS . Impeach Obama

"right out of Washington headquarters.”

Wrong way to phrase it. Too vague.

The GOP needs to directly and unequivicobly blame Barack Hussein Obama for coordinating and mandating the actions of the IRS. Call him out and directly accuse him of the highest crimes. Make him prove that this is not so. Make him throw many underlings under the bus as a defensive maneuver. Then, some of them will talk and Obama will get into even more trouble. Make the rats eat themselves. It can be done, but you have to stop using vague language.

Yes, it is a lot obvious to everyone, but the politicians in DC, especially on the Republican side are all to reluctant to call a spade a spade (no, it isn’t racist).

Heretofore (at least the last half-decade), Republicans have been mice on a field of battle littered with lions of lying. Yet, they nearly always stuck to the niceties, the propriety of government and all that balderdash.

The entire government should be renamed to what they really are: IRSS, DOiJ, Do(wb)D, WHL, POSTUS, and so on....we should brand them with a white hot dictionary of truth in our everyday and public speaking - burn it into the minds of those leeches out there their free ride is in danger.

That’s why it’s so much fun to make fun of him. It’s his choice to stay there and take the abuse. Sucker!

It may be obvious to us, but it’s only when people like Issa have the guts to come out and say it that it will take hold. We’re just preaching to the choir here, which is safe, easy - and ineffective.

Agree. Need much more of this. Need to stop taking advice from the media and the opposition party.

In this case, I can’t agree with your assessment. Calling a paid liar a paid liar isn’t stupid at all. It’s speaking truth to power.
