As a supervisor, I am well aware of how easily I can ruin a person’s week by not paying attention to the timesheets. As a resource manager, I’m even more aware of how I can mess up a contract task order by not making sure the right cost centers get charged on a weekly basis. End-of-year reconciliation can be a real gob-stomper. I bet Beachie knows about that...

Once again, my day has not gone as planned. I'm ready to rip the phone out....it won't stop ringing. And nothing earth shattering. (I wrote this 90 minutes ago.)

shhh, don't tell anyone I'm here.
sneaking in to answer.
I had one of them days.
Got a call from sponsor wondering why we had not obligated their money.
Ahhh?
checked everywhere and could not find any evidence we got the money.
They sent me copy of document
I checked it over
No sir, we never got it (dated end of Jan)
So, I had to put an urgent on getting it in house,
along with time card deal and people coming in office wanting something.
Hang in. weekend on the way.

I bet Beachie knows about that...

Yeah, but not as much as dealing with a mess on someone's finances. UGH!
I've spent months tracking down cause for overruns and how to fix them.

Yuo understand....not all do. And then there are those employees that cannot seem to get their timesheets turned in on time. Hours submitted are VERY important. Payroll is ALWAYS blamed, but we can only pay what is submitted. Some will never get that.

Hi Kathy,

I have a prayer request.

My friend, Jim, who sold me the motorcycle and introduced me to the PGR, was helping me transport my disabled motorcycle from the Sacramento area to Chico yesterday. He came down from Susanville with a trailer, which was about a four hour drive.

We were almost to Chico when his daughter, Kathy, texted me to call her. Jim's wife, Janis had encountered difficulty breathing while Jim was helping me, and Kathy had her transported to the Susanville Hospital. Late last night she was transferred to the hospital in Reno. She apparently suffered a heart attack about a week ago. Janis had suffered a stroke many years ago. Thus, she's had medical issues for some time.

Please ping the prayer warriors for Janis. These people are Great Americans, and have done a lot to help me out in the past.

Thank you

SD
