Some experts predict that views on gender will evolve in much the same way they have for sexual orientation, since homosexuality was removed as a mental illness nearly four decades ago. Today, the gender spectrum includes those who are transgender, who see themselves as the opposite gender, and those who are gender variant, or gender nonconforming, whose gender is more "fluid." For kids, it means they identify part of themselves as boy and part as girl.

In Colorado, for instance, the parents of a 6-year-old transgender girl are suing their school district for trying to make her use a separate bathroom.

I can’t imagine with the way our society is heading (already IS) we won’t have a serious price to pay. It occurred to me that some (sick) parents might want to delay puberty for a ‘star’ athlete or singer whose talent would change dramatically with puberty. Yuck is about it, isn’t it?

I disagree. Sexual identity is biological. The easiest determination is if you have an "outie" you're a male. There is no such thing as "gender" when referring to living beings. Gender refers to parts of speech or inanimate objects. Living things have sexes. And a living thing's sex is determined by biology. For humans, if you have a Y chromosome, you are a male. (May be some very rare xxxy or xxxxxy type mutations where it becomes a more difficult choice, but in general the rule stands)

I keep hoping that this is all merely a nightmare and that I'll wake up, finding that none of it is true. It's all madness, and anyone who dares to object is tarred as a "hater". Soon people will be going to prison for daring to speak out against this, it seems.
That was a famous case, I recall a documentary on it as well. More lives destroyed, and those responsible only move on to even more lucrative academic positions after they’ve been proven wrong.

Indeed; there are times when I hope that it’s all just a nightmare and I’ll be waking up from it all sometime, but then I remind myself that America is too wonderful, despite the Left’s efforts to corrupt at destroy it, to do anything other than push back as hard and as often against these idiots as I can.
