ORLANDO, May 24, 2013 Online social networks can reveal alot. Including information about the relationshps of Ibragim Todashev, a 27-year-old mixed martial arts fighter and Chechen, that was fatally shot at his Orlando townhouse.
During a meeting with FBI agents during which Todashev was allegedly being questioned about a triple murder that Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev is a suspect in, Todasheve was shot and killed, raising numerous questions in the minds of neighbors and revealing an interesting daisy chain of online links.
Todashev lived, and was killed, in the Windhaven condominium complex located in Orlando, Florida, near the Universal Studios theme park. Agents were reportedly talking to the man regarding his suspected role in a 2011 triple murder in Massachusetts.
Following the shooting, Todashevs neighbors spoke of a person who rarely left the property, but spent hours detailing and cleaning a prized vehicle, believed to be a 1998 Mercedes Benz E Class 300 or 320 with AMG Wheels.
He was constantly detailing his car, obsessively, neighbor Brian Carvajal told Communities Digital News in an exclusive interview.

They all live well for people with no visible means of support.
What a tangle of connections. Also, they all seem to have lots and lots if money. Except for the fancy cars, they don’t live very ostentatiously, but they all seem to have apartments, plenty of spare time and no jobs.
The Tsarnaevs, of course, had welfare and other government income, which they supplemented with drug sales. But this guy seemed to,live even more mysteriously; not even mentioned in the article is the fact that he (according to an earlier report) also travelled to Boston and spent a fair amount of time there.
The fact these people live with no visible means of support and have a comfortable lifestyle only highlights the incompetence of the IRS. The IRS created a living hell for me right after I was discharged from the USAF for a mistake made on my W-2 Form made by the USAF paymaster.
Yep. The government is allowing these people in and not going after them for a reason, IMO. We have to look into this and put an end to it.
“alot”? And this from a reporter?
My VA health benefits were moved from a priority group 5 to a group 8 after zeros administration conducted an audit back in 2009. I am fighting them in appeals and adding insult to injury they are trying to make me payback costs for the year 2012. I have used the VA since the 1980s and feel insulted that this admin would unjustly do this to veterans.
I am currently unemployed and have been since 2012 and am not supposed to have copays except for my meds. They are trying to make me repay the copays for care for that year.
They systematically changed the Montgomery GI Bill rules under which I enlisted in the 1970s. That affects many vets not just me.
“A” is a word, and “lot” is word. But “alot” is not a word.
One of his friends, Khusn Taramov, a 22 year old Chechyan, who was being questioned that night said Todashev was unemployed and living off money from an accident. I haven’t read any further details on the accident. The shooting may have been at the girlfriend’s condo because his name is on a place in Orlando Sun Village in a gated community in Kissimmee. Sounds like he moved in with gf but kept his own place. He’s been in the US since 2006 and one article said he has US citizenship. Amazing how we give out citizenship to any and all.
It’s not unusual that people sublet or have rental properties so right now I’m not putting any weight onto the guy in Houston.
In six years, he has citizenship??? He's probably on the expedited Muslim track. I've known other people who have had to wait for much, much longer.
As for the guy in Houston, the thing that seems odd is that nobody has been able to find him or even seems to know much about him.
You only have to be here for 5 years to be eligible for citizenship.
As for the Houston guy, I wouldn’t be answering the phone either after all this.

Online social networks can reveal a great deal of information. This is especially true in the case of Ibragim Todashev, a 27-year-old Chechen mixed martial arts fighter who was fatally shot at his townhouse in the Windhaven condominium complex in Orlando, Florida.Looking through the entire piece, it was obvious that the descriptive paragraphs were derived from descriptions of Todashev by "neighbors," which consisted largely one neighbor, Brian Carvajal, who was referenced at least 10 times in the story.
During questioning by FBI agents about his involvement in a 2011 triple murder in Massachusetts linked to Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, Todashev reportedly lunged at one of the FBI agents with a knife and was shot and killed. The shooting raised questions among his neighbors and led to the revelation of an interesting daisy chain of online links between Todashev and others involved in the Boston bombing.
Todashevs neighbor, Brian Carvajal, said Todashev rarely left his townhouse and spent hours obsessively cleaning and detailing a prized vehicle.
It was a Mercedes. I think it may have been a 1998 Mercedes Benz E Class. But I don't know whether it was the 300 or 320 model. But it had an awesome set of AMG wheels, that's for sure! Carvajal told Communities Digital News in an exclusive, though largely irrelevant, interview.
