Vanity: hypothetical on Beghazi why and who

The plot that led up to the attack on Benghazi is deeper than just a kidnapping to exchange for the blind shiek. Instead it looks to me like a plot to keep Obama in office.

Let me outline for you a hypothetical of what I think took place. The who. The what. And the why. It explains the strange decision about the security at our embassy better than any other explanation I've seen... In any case, its a great conspiracy theory.

On April 27, 2012 Obama released his longform birth certificate to lay to rest the long simmering questions about his eligibility to hold the office of President. This was done to inoculate President Obama against the question coming up before the new election. However, before the sun set people who were familiar with computer graphics were crying foul on the Internet. They found that whoever created the birth certificate had forgotten to flatten it and they were able to take it apart into many layers using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and were calling it a poor forgery. The Obama administration trotted out "experts" who claimed that the layers were artifacts of the scanning process; a claim that truly independent experts who download the original PDF document from the White House website found to be ridiculous.

As the week progressed more and more people downloaded the document and found the claims of forgery to be true. Other evidences of forgery were becoming obvious in the document such as differing portions had been scanned at different angles and different resolutions. By Tuesday, May 1, the claims that President Obama had presented a forged birth certificate as authentic had made their way onto the mainstream news media and appeared in front page newspaper articles. That evening, two of the mainstream network news programs reported it as NEWS! The administration was quickly losing control of an issue that had the potential of leading to impeachment. Too many impartial experts were weighing in calling the document a deliberate forgery. . . a felony. Something had to be done to get attention off this damaging to Obama news event.

At the time of these events Obama was not paying too much attention to the upcoming election; in fact he seemed not be paying attention at all. There were reports that Obama was planning an "October surprise" that would clinch the November elections for him. If this were the case there would be no reason for Obama to pay much attention to the upcoming election: it would be in the bag.

It is my contention that the Obama administration was planning an International drama entitled "The finding and killing of Osama bin Laden" starring Barack Obama. The performance of this morality play in October, just before the National elections would guaranty that Obama could eclipse any bad news cycle and regain any popularity loss he might be suffering. . . and win the election. However, he needed to survive this current birth certificate crisis unscathed to get to the election. He could not survive an impeachment or a Supreme Court ruling of intelligibility for the office. All they needed to do is reschedule the OBL drama to derail the BC Fiasco.

Lest you argue that there was a time imperative for the killing of OBL. The evidence is that we knew where OBL was and had been for months and possibly even years. We have now been told the house and compound had been under aerial and local surveillance for that length of time. There was no evidence that OBL was going to flee or leave it anytime soon. IF the man in the compound was OBL, Obama could pull the trigger at any time: in October, or he could choose to pull the trigger on May 2, and kill the birth certificate story.

On May 2nd, the story is released. News media is fed a story about an heroic Obama in the situation room monitoring the mission as our brave forces fly in, attack the compound, invade the house, search it, have to destroy one of our two top secret stealth helicopters, fly out, and successfully kill an unarmed Osama bin Laden (why not CAPTURE HIM????)! In the aftermath, we learn that OBL was positively identified by a DNA test on the helicopter, OBL IS given an Islamic funeral and buried at sea according to Islamic customs before sundown, OBL has been brought to justice, and the Bush's misguided War on Terror is over.

It worked. Nobody in the mainstream news was interested in the forged birth certificate. Obama was saved.

But let's take a side trip for a moment because there is problem with the Osama bin Laden drama. Inconveniently, for either time frame, according to many reliable International intelligence agency reports, bin Laden, who required twice weekly dialysis, died of complications of Kidney failure on December 13, 2001. Not a worry for the Obama administration plans, a substitute could be found. . . after all, they've been keeping OBL alive on video and audio for years (Bush, Al Qaida, and Obama all have reasons for doing so) . . . and kill the substitute and just claim success as needed.

We in the United States are not allowed to see the photos of Osama's body. . . too graphic, don't you know, for our delicate sensibilities. However, they were published in Europe and serious question were raised about the identity of the body. A major London paper published a long article on the question of was it Osama bin Laden. They presented side-by-side photographs of the body's face and Osama bin Laden's comparing the discrepancies. First and foremost the body's face had a Negroid and wide nose Osama bin Laden's was long and Semitic. Secondly, the beards have a different growth pattern and shape. Third, the ears were different. Fourth, the hairlines were distinctly different. And finally the body had two gold rings on the fingers and Osama bin Laden belong to a Muslim sect that did not wear jewelry. They believe that wearing jewelry was a mortal sin. The newspaper quoted interviews with the neighbors of the house who stated they knew the man who was killed for thirty years and he was not OBL. IIRC, they claimed he was a local butcher.

The reports of the search did NOT report finding any medical or dialysis equipment in the house or compound. . . Yet they report that the man they claim was OBL NEVER left the compound. If he was OBL, who required twice weekly dialysis, where did he get it done?

The reports the White House released claim that OBL was positively identified by a DNA test performed on the helicopter. I know of no guaranteed 100% accurate DNA test that can return results in mere minutes, or hours, or even days, that can be performed in the field! They usually take days to get results, and that's in a fully equipped lab.then there's the rush to dispose of the body. I've spoken to several people who are familiar with Muslim burial customs and none of them agreed that burying a Muslim at sea comports with Muslim burial practices especially when you arrange to make sure the body sinks, never to be capable of being recovered for proper burial on land. And why was an apparently unarmed OBL not captured but killed instead? A captured OBL would have been a great coup. He could have been questioned about further plans. And finally, where are the fruits of the seized data, the arrests of underlings, contacts, financial seizures resulting from decoding the files taken in the raid? There should have been a wealth of cascading events but there are not. It's as if OBL died in a vacuum and NOTHING was gained by the raid except publicity for Obama.

The Obama election strategists had hung all their plans on the "October Surprise" OBL mortality play but they had just used it up. Now they needed a new October surprise.

Obama had a serious weakness in foreign policy and diplomacy. He needed to show experience and strength in foreign-policy. What better What better could he do than negotiate the release of a hostage crisis. But first you have to manufacture one.

Planning must have started right after the Osama bin Laden drama given the time line.

You take an embassy and consulate in a nice safe country like Libya and start removing its normal contingency of US Marines that have protected our ambassadors, embassies, and consulates, and extraterritorial sovereign land for over 215 years. You can claim budget cuts, and blame it on the Republicans. Notice that there are no cuts in the marine squads in the dangerous location like Geneva. or Paris. or London. or Bora Bora. Just Benghazi. . . where it must be safe as houses.

You then advertise for local security to protect your Libyan ambassador and staff. You add that this security can be a "same gender couple in a committed relationship" in a nation where such a relationship is punishable by death. RIGHT, SURE. When you do hire a local security company, you hire one with known links to Al Qaida.

The embassy in Benghazi comes under attack. The Al Qaida attackers seem to know they are not going to receive any significant defense. The plan, in my opinion, is not to kill anyone but to capture them so that Obama can be seen negotiating successfully for their release. Whether he has to release the blind sheik in exchange is irrelevant. The important thing is to give Obama a win on an international diplomacy front so that he goes into the election as a strong international leader. The attackers are expecting token resistance from their accomplices on the inside. The fighting is faux resistance for the consumption of the news, both in the US and for the Muslim world to show that Al Qaida has pulled the great Satan's minions from its lair.

For this plot to succeed, no effective resistance can be allowed. Ergo, all requests are denied. Assets that are close enough to offer assistance are ordered to "stand down," to their horror and shame!

In Washington, Obama is so certain this plot is so smoothly working, he goes to bed, assuming it will continue to go to its conclusion, at which point he will start his script.

Into this clockwork, two very large monkey wrenches decide to ignore their "stand down" orders and throw themselves into the gears. . . and start unraveling the plot. Glenn Doherty and Tyrone Woods begin heroically offering more than token resistance. The attackers finding someone is shooting back at them become angry. Deciding they've been betrayed, the attacking foot soldiers—now out of control of the Al Qaida leaders who coordinated this plot with the Obama operatives—kill the people in the consulate instead of taking hostages.

Obama's people were still sending "stand down" orders, unaware that their plot has unravelled. When they learn of the disaster, they go into full CYA mode, and come up with the idiotic "it was a spur of the moment mob protesting a movie trailer" that caused the whole thing, ignoring inconvenient facts such as the trailer was seen only by 264 people in the USA, and those only after the Benghazi attack had been underway.

Do I think they meant for Stevens and the other three to die? No. Do I think the Obama administration was involved? Up to their eyeballs, and then some. Do I think Stevens was in Benghazi to arrange weapons for rebels? Nope. I don't.. Did Ambassador Stevens know about the attack before its began? I think he knew he was going to be a guest of Al Qaida... ...

I wish I wasn't so God Damn cynical. I am this way because this government, that certain democrats and the entire party have made me so damn cynical. . . And suspicious of everything they do. This scenario seems to explain all of the events leading up to and during the Benghazi attack better than any other explanation from the participants.

Remember, the Clinton’s got rolled in 2008. They were livid. The Clinton’s will not roll a second time because this is the absolute last window she has. There will be a huge war between the Soros clan and the Clinton CAP clan and it will make the The Hatfields & The McCoys look like a putt-putt match.

Although it’s intriguing to ponder possibilities, I believe the simplest explanation is probably the correct one.

Security was not provided to the consulate because we didn’t want to seem overly hostile and aggressive. Hillary and Obama actually deluded themselves into believing that they were the great Middle East peacemakers.

The video story and subsequent cover up were concocted because Obama did not want his assertion that al Queda was “on the run” to be debunked by reality and didn’t want to give Romney ammunition in the latter stages of the campaign.

Obama, in consultation with Clinton, gave the stand down order because there was no way they were going to chance this being a rerun of Mogadishu right before the election. Better to sacrifice an ambassador, than to have our soldiers being cruelly dragged through the streets.

No help was sent because Boy Wonder Barry Obama was so incoherently drunk and high that he was passed out.

Of all the conjectures floating around, this is the one that just seems to be the most logical, considering what is public knowledge of the Kenyan.

We can blame the media more than anyone. When Fox, Rush, Hannity or Savage report strongly on a story, they immediately back off. They clearly support Democrats regardless of the facts or truth. It may have something to do with targeted advertisements but the information is always controlled and manipulated. It is a challenge to sort out propaganda and find the truth on topics in the news.

If Obama planned to have Stevens captured so that he could make a big political production out of it, then why didn’t Obama make a big political production out of it? That option was always there, even after they knew Stevens was dead. Obama hiding during this event looks to me like someone who has received a sudden shock. He wouldn’t have been shocked if Stevens had been killed in an Obama plan gone wrong. They would have known that Stevens being killed was always a possibility. And remember Rahm Emmanuel’s admonition about never letting a crisis go to waste. Why wasn’t Obama giving a press conference about how he was going to fix all this and get justice for Stevens? Nope. Obama was scared and shocked. Why did Obama and Hillary, two staunch, peace loving Democrats use the might of the United States to overthrow the government in Libya? I thought the Democrats were talkers, not fighters. Why?

I agree...If this were simply a terror attack, then it would have been a 15 minute event; Go in, find a few people and kill them, blow up a bunch of stuff and go home.

But this was drawn out. It was supposed to be scripted, as you pointed out, except that not everyone knew the script. The potential hostages didn’t know and reacted as real people, not actors. They begged for help as expected. The heroes, had they obeyed orders and “stood down”, would not have caused fear in the minds of the hostage takers. No shots would have been fired.

Just like Fast and Furious, it takes whistle-blowers to show the real plot of this evil adminstration.

I never thought the birth certificate released last year was that big a deal. Sure, it was taken apart but the media provided sufficient cover to keep it from gaining traction outside conservative circles. Most people were willing to believe anything the media told them about “discredited birthers”. I don’t think that could have been the catalyst as you suggest.

On the contrary, for the first time the MSM were starting to pay attention and were NOT giving cover and were asking questions. Letters to the editors were starting to appear from people who were duplicating the layers with their home computers and asking "what the hell?" It had legs.

Obama had proven on many instances that no challenge to the Birth Certificate would amount to anything. He had lock-tight cover from the Media and the Supreme Court for that.

Venturer, the events of that week following the release of the long form birth certificate belie your claim. . . The main stream media was suddenly NOT covering it up and was actually reporting it for the first time! The forgery was too blatant when people at home could do their own testing and see for themselves, it had to acknowledged. The BC problem was escalating.

No, blue, they did NOT assume their plan could fail. Narcissists never assume their perfect plans can fail. They are shocked when they do. They do not have contingency plans for the impossible because they cannot possibly fail. There was no fall back plan.

Did you miss it? Obama did do just that. He said we would do everything humanly possible to bring the perpetrators, the members of the mob, to justice. And the creator of that reprehensible YouTube trailer as well... All to get "justice" for Ambassador Stevens and the other victims. Then they talked and talked and talked...

So that’s why nothing was ever done about the deceit? I disagree.

The media has never admitted it is a fake.

I did not say they admitted it was a fake, I said the "controversy" made the main stream media... That had never happened before. That was big. . . It was a line that was being crossed the administration did not want crossed.
