The US government has blocked a Texas-based company from distributing details online of how to make a plastic gun using a 3-D printer.

The established order always fears the rise of a new NOBILITY because they will always overthrow and execute the old ELITISTS!
State Department is jumping once again at the command of their foreign masters ~ they, of course, have the most to lose.
Won't happen overnight.
Designs for homemade guns have been on the internet since practically the beginning
The Feds should have tried throwing a stimulus at it, they might have gotten lucky. Everything that has been touched by Fed money has died.
Actually this is a godsend the Feds clamping down like this, its just like the ammo situation, EVERYONE is buying ammo even if they have no guns. I will be buying my weekly allotment of ammo of a couple of popular calibers of which I have no firearms for, just because I think I should do it RIGHT NOW.
And here is hoping somewhere in Texas there is a group setting up shop making thousands of hard copies of various Liberator gun designs.
Or millions.
Not really.
With so many downloads, the cat is out of the bag. To late for the feds.
Revolt is coming.
They are more likely to require background checks, licensing, and registration of nails (used as firing pin).
More goobermint jobs that way.
“So the Feds are freaking that someone might spend $1500 to acquire a crappy one-shot .22 pistol?”
It’s a precedence they are setting. This time it’s a crappy single shot .22. Technology will advance, but nobody is really challenging the Fed in seizing the CAD files.
The Fed doesn’t care about THIS gun. The Fed cares about future weapons it can’t tax and control. YOUR gubment hard at work, and not a peep about the constitutionality or the precedent set.
Evidently it's the DOD weapons export law.
OK, so the US military should have the right to stop foreign enemies from getting US defense technology, but this is clearly a political issue that has nothing to do with defense. I mean, next they could use the law to shut down the freerepublic because someone here said the pentagon was in Washington and somehow that was supposed to be a secret.
Obama fears the most some lone wolf operator coming right out of the blue with a non detectable possibly printed type of weapon and successfully gets near enough to enact bodily harm.
A repeat of Lincolns assassination? Wear the shoes and hat and follow the footsteps of the past you go to the same destination I suppose.
They fear these 3D guns more so than high cap mags apparently which are being 3D printed nationally right this very second.
There's also a $999 printer by "UP" but I understand the gripe is u have to use their propriatary ABS. The question is whether this one can do the 'Liberator'. The specs say it's limited to print out sizes up to a five-inch cube max. That plus the strength of the finished prototype is only 30% that of the original ABS.
Actually you can buy one of these and build your own AR-15 without a FFL background check.

The criminal fascist syndicate occupying Washington is powerless to stop it. This incident is another of ten-thousand brushfires that the federal fascists have neither the manpower nor resources to stop.
Every patriot needs to think of an action to muck up the federal fascist machinery and implement it. This 3-D weapon is one example of many.
The fascists now need to devote manpower and resources to try to stop the 3-D weapon. That takes away resources that are used to implement their illegal fascist dictates. The strategy is to overwhelm the fascists with problems to solve and get them running around in circles, extinguishing brushfires.
If there IS a revolution the Feds do NOT fear going head to head with citizens armed with AR or AK rifles.they will just bring out the tanks, drones, flame throwers and such.
But they cannot defend absolutely against a back alley confrontation, parking lot, elevator, stairwell assassination of a person with a Liberator style pistol, especially after its been taken past metal detectors.
taking out the Federal warriors one at a time with a disposable cheap .22 pistol is what they fear the most, because it would work.
State Department?
I have the .stl files for all the parts to be interpreted by the printer but no drawings in a graphic format
If you have a 3D printer, I have the files
Every smart guy on the planet now has the plans to build a virtually invisible firearm that will enable him or her to dispose of those who would harm him or her at a distance.
The key is INVISIBLE, not that it's a firearm ~ this cannot be detected except when it's fired.
Cite your sources please or it will be regarded as conspiracy theory nutty thinking. Thank-you.
The reality is that the cat is out of the bag, the feds LOST, proof is that by the tons of downloads that took place.
Congress already outlawed INVISIBLE (to detector) firearms!
We'll need to roll that back, but in the rest of the world ~ BTW, my source? The internet is a worldwide phenomenon ~ that's common knowledge. The fact you'd challenge common knowledge tells me you are not up on this situation at all, or maybe you are ~ so, tell us why you now think funny little foreign people everywhere can't have access to the internet?
Well, that settled that ~ this gun design is invisible to electronic detectors ~ it's not just a single shot emergency firearm.
It's very close to a world weapon ~ 7 billion of these little buggers and there's not a corrupt totalitarian regime on Earth that will last a month ~ unless the people are satisfied to have things that way (see: China)
People should look into “maker spaces” or “hacker spaces”.

They are community places where you can use the machines to build whatever you want. Memberships vary but are reasonable.
