With regard to the assertion that Jason “is just like Jackie Robinson”.

This would be true if Jackie Robinson had waited until he was a 36 year old free agent to tell the world he was Black.

“We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers” with these words the Apostle Paul said there is a war in the cosmos that has been waged since Lucifer fell from heaven. Tim Tebow is a out of the closet Christian, and the NBA player Collins is an out of the closet gay man.
It’s no coincidence that both made the news the same day.
Its part of our downward slide in moral relativism versus the moral imperitives of Scripture.

Frankly, I was TOT (Tired of Tebow) when he had a short run of wins (due to him not being new to the scene).

After defenses figured him out (3 games?) he was and is just another overpaid bench-warmer.

Marino needed Strock. Someone will need Tebow in the same role.

His exhortations are not new to the NFL (nor NBA nor MLB).

There are many of us who believe that your love of God is best served under a bushel. I won’t chastise Mr. Tebow but I do point out that his antics may not be glorifying the Lord but rather himself.

But that is just me.

The big story from yesterday should have been Stephen Curry's amazing performance against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night. : )

I miss the good ol’ days when an athlete’s on-field performance mattered more than his arrest record or who he chose to sleep with.

IMHO I believe the people behind the NFL or NY Jets took him there to not play him and ruin his career and all because he does his ne knee and prays.
On the other hand this homo turd poker who is hardly a big name player who is ending his playing days will write a book and use this crap to sell his book.

He stated he lived a lie , er well who told him to have sex with women and if he did then how can he be hard to have sex with women if he does not like them, then who the hell asked him all the time if he was a turd poker?
NO ONE

This idiots comes out and tells the country like we all care with all the other important issues that he is a turd poker and now what?

We have a media frenzy, the free loading wife of bozo tweeting how she has his back and well done bla bla
Surely beneath the dignity of the white house not that we can get in ou own house we pay for right now.

Then why does he feel the need like so many of them to tell us what he is in bed or on their cases the public bathroom?
Will it affect my life , no but debt, spending, Libya, fast and furious, etc will and yet the media pushed Tebow ut and makes this dope of a player a hero who will be used to sell his ass no pun intended to promote the turd poking strap on agenda.

Next we’ll see him playing no pun again with bozo at the white house while we pay for that house and cannot get in there

It’s a most telling dichotomy, in regards to where the culture has gone. A vocal “Christian” gets vilified, where a vocal “homo” gets celebrated. Everything has become upside-down. What was once regarded as good, decent and moral is now looked down upon, while what was vile, indecent and immoral is now celebrated and praised to the hilt. That is America 2013 for you. I don’t see how such a society or such a country survives this in the long run.

Most articles on Tebow call him polarizing. Tebow isn’t polarizing, the media is.

Real Christians need to think about giving their money to the NFL that obviously does not welcome Christian athletes who witness to the faith.

“He who loves father or mother...or son or daughter... more than me is not worthy of me,” said Jesus (Matt. 10:37). That probably also covers loyalty to the Packers, Cowboys, Broncos et al.

The other eight teams that expressed some measure of doubt all cited Collins’ age and corresponding questions about his ability to make a productive on-court contribution as the overriding reason he wouldn’t be able to find a job for his 13th season, not because of fallout from the announcement....

This is why he came out now. The guy was on 6 teams in 12 years. Believe me when I say his being a homosexual was no secret. But now that he ANNOUNCED and has become a HERO and backed by the PRESIDENT , it will be extremely hard for the NBA to let him go next season for any reason. Can you say MEGA-MILLION dollar lawsuit!

My grandparents would believe they had been transported to bizzaro world if they were alive today. An openly Christian athlete is criticized for making his faith a matter of public record when His savior commands him to make disciples of all men. And there seems to be no limit on the vile things which can be said by Tebow’s critics.

And this same crowd celebrates and praises an athlete for publicly proclaiming a behavior which should be kept private and some find distasteful or repulsive. However, if anyone dare raises a contrary opinion it will end their career and warrant death threats.

How did this reversal happen in a few short years? And Christians were mocked when they pointed out the slippery slope we were treading.

And then there is the trial shedding light on an abortion house of horrors, terrorists on welfare, on and on. May God have mercy on us. His sovereign will is that I live in such days. Lord, bring revival and come quickly.

If most americans really understand what vile, foul, disgusting, bizarre acts homosexuals do behind closed doors...they would be sick and horrified. ...

But all they see are the T.V. sitcom homos that are harmless funloving regular guys...who happen to love someone of the same sex...

The Jets always seemed like they were afraid Tebow might succeed, so they left him on the bench and let Sanchez lose. It never made much sense to me. Sure, Tebow is not a good QB by NFL standards, but he seemed to find ways to win at Denver - bet the Jets would have done better had he played more. The media and the league wanted him to fail, they were afraid he wouldn’t - apparently that is more important to the Jets than actually winning football games. Meanwhile, a fringe NBA player claims to be queer, thereby making it impossible not to employ him somewhere, and the media is orgasming in delight. Satan is getting bolder and bolder, and his belly flop into the lake of fire is getting ever nearer.

Heard a ‘story’ the other day (Chris Plante) that Collins wore #98 in ‘honor’ and remembrance of a WY character named Mathew Shepherd, who was ‘staked’ out on fence and beaten to death in 1998.
Although it is/was highly regarded as a ‘feather in the cap of the ‘homo’ community (a cause celebre) the facts came out that he was actually a robbery target who happened to ‘go for the pole, rather than the hole (Female)’ but it was more better for the cause to throw in the ‘homo’ angle.
