Last reports indicated video of a suspect planting a device was obtained, but there is no ID on the suspect.
If they have no ID on the suspect, would not showing the video to the public possibly reveal who the suspect is? Would friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers or possibly his neighbors be able to ID the suspect?
It's already been announced world wide the video was obtained at one of the bomb sites in front of a retail shop. So it would not seem likely the investigation would be compromised, since the suspect himself would already know they had video of the devise being planted at the bomb site.
If the video was aired, wouldn't it be possible someone out there would be able to identify the suspect?
How could the investigation be compromised at this point, if airing the video could possibly help or assist in identifying the suspect/suspects before they could possible plant more devices?
I really don’t know obviously. But it looks to my untrained eye as though there are a couple/three of them coordinating. Two pressure cookers filled with whatever they needed to be filled with, are pretty heavy, they needed two bags or whatever to set down.
Your guess is as good as mine, but IMHO they would have needed more than one guy. And why the ear pieces if only one guy.
Now that is funny, no matter what race you are. So they caught the guy who sent anthrax ?
they guy with the ear wire does look lighter skinned than the one in the pix that was taken after the bomb went off (one with 2 of them with phones to their ears) - they may have had a tip that there was a bomb threat and had undercover LE walking around and they may be LE.
Absolutely...The reporting of this entire event reeks and the comments put out by various government agencies and media services is at best, very suspect.
Bottom line, if there is video of an individual planting a bomb, they should reveal that video to the public in an effort to help possibly ID this person, who law enforcement themselves have said they have not been able to ID at this time.
Even if the video is not good, the suspects attire, dress, hat, backpack, general description, etc., could possibly be identified by someone who might recognize who it is.
Why don’t you get in touch with them and give them the full value of your brilliant insights. Really, you shouldn’t hold back. The universe needs your immense intellect to help it over spots like this one.

You have a good point...In fact them cancelling the big Boston bombing news conference, then suddenly Obama appears on all the channels with more propaganda about gun control, was a bit odd to say the least.
In addition, some leaks coming out indicated this video is of pretty good quality of an unknown suspect planting the device..Even some saying the suspect was not only captured on this retail video, but matched with other still images.

That is a bunch of bs. Some guy with Photo Shop drawing circles around people with back packs, circles around EVERYONE he sees with a back pack.

Assuming that the real perp(s) are ME and that Obama would attempt to cover that up (being the kow-towing Muslim and Saudi sympathizer that he is) seems a little risky. Too many people would have to be “dealt with”, if yu catch my drift, to keep it all quiet and in line with the playbook (think - Benghazi). But, I’ve got to say quite imaginative. And, if it would turn out to be true (a cover up), do you think we would ever know the truth? Nuh uh.
Don't worry. They can enhance any video or audio. With all the security cameras in the area they have some good images.
They're releasing this conflicting information for a reason. They say it's from Lord and Taylor yet all the pictures are from the other side of the street, not from the L & T side. And you have to know they had face recognition going on there too. They have it in liquor and jewelry stores, I'm sure they have it at sports events.
Now that I think about it, it was probably the face recognition technology that probably identified a known bad guy at the marathon. That's why all of a sudden the security folks started checking out the hotels just before the bombs exploded.
