Last reports indicated video of a suspect planting a device was obtained, but there is no ID on the suspect.
If they have no ID on the suspect, would not showing the video to the public possibly reveal who the suspect is? Would friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers or possibly his neighbors be able to ID the suspect?
It's already been announced world wide the video was obtained at one of the bomb sites in front of a retail shop. So it would not seem likely the investigation would be compromised, since the suspect himself would already know they had video of the devise being planted at the bomb site.
If the video was aired, wouldn't it be possible someone out there would be able to identify the suspect?
How could the investigation be compromised at this point, if airing the video could possibly help or assist in identifying the suspect/suspects before they could possible plant more devices?
Chaos is right...Watching the reporting of this, the inconsistencies, the BS, the false inaccurate reports, etc., etc, is enough to make one recoil
And now supposedly a video of an unknown bomb suspect, yet they’ve declined to show the video, which could possibly help ID the suspect.
BTW, you could be right about the political factions within these government departments.

I think you're right. They said they were using the department store surveillance video and a video sequence shot by a local Boston TV cameraman to find the suspects.
Though the local Boston TV station didn't know what in their video was significant, the video was run continuously today on FoxNews. It shows the footage that the camerman got as he waded into the crowd of spectators at the second bomb site. I DVR'd it and I think I was able to pinpoint these same guys standing right next to the barrier.
If you have the video on your DVR, wait until almost the end when there is footage of a woman snapping a picture of a couple of posing spectators. Look in the background at that point and do a frame advance.
You'll be able to see a good shot of the guy that is on the right in the pic you posted, especially after the woman being photographed lowers her arm. He is looking back over his shoulder at the passing video camera and looks alarmed that he's being filmed.
It's only a head and shoulders shot, but the resemblance is obvious. Also, you can glimpse a profile shot of the other guy.

They have a security camera pointed right at the spot where the second bomb went off — the paper bag at the curb. There is no way they don’t have a clear video of this guy setting that bag down there.

That is exactly what is happening. It happened after 911 in NY as well.
Look, they're slowly revealing what the video depicts. Now they are reveling attire, description of clothing, color of backpack, etc., etc...Even clothing and attire can be ID by someone who possibly would know of suspect.
For example, I know one of my neighbors wears a specific hat, has a crew cut, and has a logo'd backpack and often wears tan cargo pants...I know his thin build, how he walks.
Point is, if they have video of a suspect, they should reveal the video so someone might be able to ID this person.
BTW an arrest has been made in Mississippi regarding the ricin deal.

The FBI likely doesn’t have any more of an idea what it’s doing than Shep Smith does.
That was a bag of water bottles. There was a lady above the bag with a handful of water bottles. That image was a misdirect from the group within our government that is trying to slow down the investigation.
Those two guys are wearing military issue boots and have hearing devices. There appear to be the good guys, but in this country nowadays, what difference does it make ?
