Just hung up, well, they hung up on me, from someone called "Tea Party Patriots".
Of course they wanted money, touted the Constitution, etc.
I told this woman the most important thing right now is the 2nd amendment, and where in these few issues she was spewing about fell.
She started to speak of the Constitution, etc....I cut her off stating they are trying to take away our guns. Registration leads to confiscation; hence, termination.
She skirted around this but I would not allow her. I again asked her WHERE does the right to bear arms fit in and again, she gave me the run around.
I advised her if she wanted to make any progress with her "phone calls" that should be the #1 issue.
I reminded her once again....registration leads to confiscation.....then termination.
She hung up on me.
Anyone get any similar calls?
I’ve been on the edge of yanking the landline for months, and a gadget like that just might save it. There are a few choice telemarketers whom I’d take great pressure in pressing the “Block” button (twice) on.
I have it held in another Firefox tab until I can show it to Mrs. Liberty.
I can’t see this ending well.
Lord please be with us.
Through His name, Jesus Christ, Amen.
“Pressure” s/b “Pleasure.” Danged auto-correct.
Give me a mail shout if you take the plunge .. I’m no expert, but can confirm/help with the basics from having owned/used it for several months.
Told them I don't respond to phone calls asking for donations no matter who they claim to be.
I am getting spammed with calls from TPP and Tea Party Patriots. I’ve blocked them. You don’t know who you are really talking to when someone like this calls you.
I just lost my electric for 3-4 minutes. I am using my phone now. I can’t get on the Internet from my computer. I called several peeps in my hood and they are fine . Will reboot
I got a call from a TEA party lady yesterday and I hung up on her because I will send money when I have it to send, but to worthy local organizations. (Yes, she blabbed about the Constitution.) I hate it when grass roots groups rally around a cause and then find a way to perpetuate their victimhood into a non-profit (Oh, we’re having a national convention, send money so we can pay for it). No different from government orgs that outlive their usefulness but then keep on going.
Thank you for outlining this history. Very helpful in evaluating who is asking for donations.
Holy carp, I can’t get onto my Internet!
Ah but you would call teaparty.net which has help from former Herman Cain campaign manager Niger Inns, Radio Host Rusty Humphries, and Kevin Jackson as just trash.

The teaparty.net has help from former Herman Cain campaign manager Niger Innis, Radio Host Rusty Humphries, and Kevin Jackson. I wouldn’t say they suck.

Why the smile?
Makes me just ignore any calls I don’t know, especially private numbers, I have had quite a few same number robo calls on a daily basis lately.
And the communists would love to do fake Tea Party callings, heck they would even masquerade as a local 2A Tea Party Militia hoping to get 2A patriots to start firing upon a federal building.
Rats are rats, especially commie rats.
It’s on the way...Mrs. Liberty approved. Seems simple enough to operate. Thanks!
K I’m back. Bookmarking this one.....
Do you work for them?
They are a money making org that disses other tea party groups, and tried from the very beginning to destroy other TPM groups so that they could be seen as the LEADERS of the tea party movement.
Looks like they are hiring uninformed people to get more money for them, which they spend mostly on getting more money.
In DC they tried to co-op a tea party rally, came in with a bull horn and told the people "come over to our rally."
Underhanded dirty tricksters, the leadership had a falling out with each other, and one left.
They are a political organization
Yep, that is what they are, they do NOT represent the tea party in any way.
If you work for them, good job on promoting them!
Figured them out real good you did.
Their buddy that used to fly them around in his private jet must have found new friends.
Thanks Syncro! Tea Party Express is the ONLY one I would ever give my hard earned money too, besides Sarah PAC and Tea Party candidates individually. To me TPE and FR are like brother and sister and I trust both.
AuntB, I wish I could have remembered the info you posted so I could have thrown it in that girls face. I remember that whole “dust up” now.
I just love how the Tea Party was/is SOOOO “insignificant” that now they have to STEAL OUR name as cover!
