Why is there an ammunition shortage? Why cant Border Patrol agents get enough ammunition to maintain proficiency, especially at a time of increased cross-border smuggling and illegal activity? Where is all this ammunition going?"

How can they run out of ammo? They sure as hell aren’t shooting illegals.

Tell some of those uneducated government progressive bimbos currently screwing up everything they touch to give us some of that ammunition.
Or else.

Federal government agents won’t be issued ammunition, because there is a shortage, because the federal government has already bought it all and a lot of future production too. Are we supposed to believe this?

Ya’ mean that the billions and billions of rounds of ammo set aside to shoot us Americans has not been sent down to the Border Patrol? Is this insanity or what!
Maybe the IRS and Homeland Security don’t need the tanks, bazookas, flame throwers, machine guns, bombs, and bullets that Obozo’s handlers have stashed away for the assault on Americans. Howz’ ‘bout sending some down to the borders?
Is this crazy or what? Our generals are not getting promoted if they refuse to kill unarmed American citizens on American soil, but the border patrol can’t get ammo to defend us from illegal aliens. Insanity!

George Soros must have told Obama he could use taxpayer funds to corner the market on ammo. Nappy probably has DHS and ATF destroying all the rounds they bought.

I used to fire 3 boxes (150 rounds) when I went to the range, sometimes a little more if I had more than one gun I was working with. So 150 rounds a month isn't a lot to maintain proficiency. If they don't practice and have to shoot but miss and hit a bystander, would it not be reasonable to assess blame on management for not keeping their employees proficient? Better take those guns away then Janet, someone might get hurt.

Seeing as the Border Patrol is now a part of the DHS, the fact that the BP can't get ammo while its DHS parent has been stockpiling is, shall we say, 'interesting'...

So-called Homeland Security decides who gets ammo and who doesn’t. This is the slippery slope to gun control.

Despite the Department of Homeland Security recently putting in orders to purchase billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition
DHS hasn't ordered billions of rounds of ammunition and they have no plans to do so.
Of the thousands of articles, blog posts, and FR posts on this, all but basically two of them have been completely wrong. I can't emphasize this enough. The thousands of false articles and posts have created an alternate reality which is impossible to combat.
