Real Republican lawmakers should be proposing legislation and pushing HARD for fully automatic guns to be as legal and easy to own and acquire as semi-autos. THAT would push the debate to the enemies side of the field.
I want access to EVERY weapon that the enemy can possibly acquire. Otherwise, the enemy has a significant advantage over me.

Well, yeah... I think our debate is which is he being more of - evil or stupid. In this case, he’s being more evil (lying) than he is stupid, as in not knowing what a fully automatic weapon is.
But I’m sure there’ve been instances where he was being more stupid than evil, like, the 57 states thing.
