Funny you’ve mentioned a few movies where you prefer the book version, because I’ve felt the opposite on some books I’ve read where I preferred the movie...The Lord of the Rings trilogy for example.

I couldn’t imagine owning one of those big brutes although they are nice.

I much preferred the movie “Empire of the Sun” over the book by J. G. Ballard. And I may prefer the movie “The Wizard of Oz” (1925) over the book, even though the story is completely different.

I have to work both Sat and Sun afternoons. Hope they are quiet.
