First I want to thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes.
Second, except for the fact
that I am another year older, I had a really nice birthday.
Family members remembered...got many texted messages...
hug and kiss from one son...
a cuddly blanket from another...
a card and phone call from my mother...
and I bought some new blouses for work & treated myself to a pair of
(sorta - for me) expensive earrings with my birthstone...
and my hubby gave me iTune cards and took me to dinner.
Finally, when I got to work I found that
a co-worker had left me a birthday card with some money.
Guess I'll put that toward the purchases I made. LOL
As you can imagine after two days off
the work and emails were waiting for me when I got in.
Therefore, I'll have to make my rounds quickly.
Please stay right where you are.
Keep the troops and their families entertained.
The Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

Oh My....
I can see why Tim Rice deserted him for the “Magic Kingdom”!
LOL.
That is taking the leitmotif to new extremes! Perhaps his ID got Fixayed.
(Takes a bow)
I like the little drum guy! :-)
Although I was a church organist in a Pentecostal Church for 11 years, a founding member of a Christian Rock Band for seven, and a composer of Contemporary Christian Music, I have come to enthusiastically appreciate the venerable old liturgical music. Everything from Palestrina to Bach, from Handel to Rachmaninoff (he set the “Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom to music). (Notice that all branches of Christendom are included!)
I really like Verdi’s Requiem, and Mozart’s too, even though they are probably considered “Concert” works rather than “Sacred Music”.
When I shuffle off this mortal coil, I would love to have the guys get together and perform Verdi’s requiem at my funeral, but I may have to settle for a recording of Susan Boyle singing “Amazing Grace”. LOL.
Oh well...that’s nice too.
Indeed...that’s why we don’t have tulips or daffodils in Florida.
BUT we DO Have:
Ixoria
Bird of Paradise
Plumeria(Frangipani)
Heliconia(Many Varieties)
ORCHIDS
Roses
Ruellia
Torch Ginger
Hawaiian Ginger
Angel trumpets
Carob
Orange (lemon, lime, grapefruit)Blossoms,
Arthurium,
Crown of Thorns,
Queen Emma’s Lily
and a few others(LOL!)
That Bike has an evo engine...looks like it’s from the late 80’s or ealy 90”s.
VERY Cool!
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
Good morning, Kathy...((HUGS))
Maddi and I had a good day?

Glad you had a great birthday, I'm glad they only come once a year :-)
Our weather has been wet and dry but warm, spring has definately sprung!
Lots of work to do so I better grab more coffee and hit it..
Have a bodacious day!
