Wallace: We’ll get to substance later, but are you running for president?
Morning Folks!
Thanks for the thread and ping AB. Looks like it could be a good viewing and posting day.
Plus...the sun is shining, somewhat rare here in the Spring.
Oh, yeah....Happy Spring Y’all!
Morning, AB! Stuck inside with the latest winter storm and now stuck with ABC Messina vs. Rove.
Rove - on Senate budget - Good.
Messina - (lol, forgive me, I can’t get over the way his mouth looks (lips too red with his teeth make him look like dracula) - I have no idea what he said.
The whole round table agrees the Senate passing a budget is a really good thing. Everyone’s happy. Yay!
I would rebel against PC, shlush fund financing, and perpetual campaigning.
I would embrace full-time Republican grass-roots staff, technologies to embrace and educate LoFo voters, and most importantly standing up and taking responsibility.
I doubt Messina is my type.
the Limbaugh doctrine
This is actually the Vladimir Illych Lenin doctrine, aka the “commisar system,” in which the highest rung on the ladder is reserved for those who are vested with the task of politicizing EVERYTHING while lesser lights—nomenklatura, intelligentsia, apparatchik and useful iditos — are engaged to deal with the petty stuff.
This has been the gold standard for Marxist governance since 1917. Rush “discovers” it in 2013 (almost 100 hundred years later) largely because for decades he refuses to use the word COMMUNISM (he’s a wimp when it comes to this) and thus has no rudimentary education in what communism is and how it works in reality, how it got into the USA, who did it and why it will be SO HARD to get rid of.
But I do love Rush all the same.
ABC Round table - On to “Guns in America” issue.
Rove says this isn’t about keeping mentally ill people from getting guns. This is about registering guns even if a greandfater wants to give his grson an heirloom.
Messina says 40 percent of gun sales never go through background checks.
Moran says Rove et al are scaring people. Rove counters, “Why do you need it?” (the registry). Rove does a good job standing up for 2nd amendment.
Peggy says people just don’t trust Congress.....especially these big bills because they assume there is so much jmischief hidden within it. (Peggy is right on this, except smart people don’t trust the five page bills she recommends, either.)

Wallace: I’m having a hard time figuring out where you are, Senator Rand. I can’t pigeon-hole you into the political spectrum.
Rand Paul Up.
We don’t need new principles (commenting on Rubio’s “America still works”)
Amnesty, Wallace asks about his opposition to E-verify. He wants Border security first, vote on every year.
He’s not opposed to the data-base check, not eligible to vote not eligible for welfare. Wants govt to do it, not burden business.
On GOP getting hispanic vote by supporting amnesty, he want’s “Trust but Verify” program. Doesn’t trust any president to handle border security, wants Congress to deal with it every year
Wallace asking him about legalizing drugs. Prisons full of non-violent criminals. Doesn’t think drug abuse is a good thing.
Supreme Court on same-sex, Should SCOTUS strike down DOMA? Thinks states should have the right to decide the issue. DOMA provides protection for the states, make federal laws more neutral. Marriage should not be part of the tax code
On filibuster regarding drones, letter from Holder does president have authority to kill Americans on US soil? Drones killing people not engaged in combat. Americans corresponding with terrorists should get arrested and day in court, not blown up in a public setting.
Is there room for a presidential candidate who is to the left of Obama on some issues and on the right on other issues. (hinting at Paul candidacy)
Your plan would balance the budget in 5 years, it got 18 out of 100 votes, is it out of the mainstream?
He wants to be building bridges here in the US rather than Egypt and thinks the Senate is out of touch with the positions of the American people.
My biggest fear for last election was that it would be the last.
Time will tell if it is true.
However, if we get, by the grace of God, another chance, then I pray that Sarah is our nominee. The pundits say she doesnt have a chance, but after numerous tries with a RINO let us gather around ONE conservative this time (not Newt, Rick Rand or anyone else) and see if this country will go for a conservative once and for all.
If so, we get a breather.
If not, then we can resign our hopes for this once special nation to the ash heap of Eurosocialist history. [Re-posted from last week]
Well then....that would explain where the techniques came from, wouldn’t it. Their ranks are filled with communists, admitted and otherwise.
ABC, Now Rove on the GOP autopsy says it’s about “tactics”.
Messina said they didn’t miss the votes of hispanics, women, etc, etc, etc because of “tactis”. They lost those votes because they are wrong on the issues.
Noonan - says repercussions of crash in 2008 are affecting GOP party- clash between growers vs debt/defecit folks (must be referring to taxers vs non taxers). Also foreign policy issues (Iraq/Afghanistan) - Repub’s are in conflict over this.
Brazile says Repub’s talk down to people. Folks won’t vote for that.
Terry Moran says something idiotic which no one seems to agree with. Wish I’d caught it.
More need to stand up to them and ask them why they “need” a registry, why they “need” to disarm the people.
I would add we need to learn how the left continually defeats us at election time. And, well before.
Its all poltical gamesmanship, IMHO. These folks have to run on lies, half truths and distortions and pretending to be us. Anything else and they lose.
So demonizing us becomes a full time job for them. But, in the end its political advantage that turns the scale. Take the sequester for example. It's an issue they needed to win even though they proposed it to being with!! Zero proposed the sequester as a last resort when he failed/refused to compromise with us one more time during the very few negotiations he has ever indulged in.
To think that their side(axelrod et all) had not figured out all the ramifications of sequester and how they could use it to their advantage and formulated strategy for over a year about how to destroy Republicans using the sequester is to be ultra naive.
Its all they do.They had to have set us up relentlessly. All they need do is call in every department head they have and decide where they can cut their budget. Not where it will do the least harm but the most!! Whether it be nasa, defense, the guy in charge of small airport towers,etc.etc. Also Zero had no intention to engage in targeted budget funding which would allow the lest damage from the sequester since he wanted the most damage. Also targeted cuts require more negotiations with Congress which he never does yet gets away with due to a willing press.
So when the time is right just before the sequester takes hold zero rolls out a well orchestrated plan to destroy more Republicans using the sequester that he called for. It works marvelously and we look like those mean ol' Republicans calling for disaster/chaos for all the countries citizens all because we wouldn't agree to just a few more taxes on the evil rich.
Well played!
In other words they kicked our ass again and we let it happen.
Its all political strategy. They have it. We don't.
I am working on getting it on my braylog.com website and should have it ready in a few days. Shoot me an email and I will get it to you. This destroys the methods we have been using which leads to losses.
Pray for America
Some woman on FOX attempting to defend the defensible...queer marriage. Gary Bauer on the opposition, commenting on the Judge’s contempt for people of faith.
The truth is, any screaming packer has the right to marry (a woman) as does the next guy.
P/M “marriage” exists only to defile Holy Matrimony.
Bich Nichole going wild and won’t shut up when Wallace tries to shut her down.
Wallace talking about how Ruth Buzzy Ginsburger has a problem with how R v.W moved too fast and was enacted by judicial fiat.
Bauer talking about how many states have enacted a definition of marriage banning same-pervert marriage.
Wallace mentioning recent public opinion poll mentioning favorability to fag marriage.
ABC Round Table - Immigration Reform
Rove - absolutely needs to do this. (moron)
On to Gay Marriage/Supreme Court
Plays clip of Hillary coming out supporting LGBT, ABCD, AND EFGH’s being able to marry.
Moran (I think it was him) -People are way ahead of the elites. The Chief Justice doesn’t want to get caught on the wrong side of history....and ....”wants to let the people do what they want to be doing” (what? and lol)
Noonan - thinks SC will say let states make those decisions (about people doing what they want to be doing)
Rove - says Ginsberg may be key in leaving this up to states.
Messina -aka Dracula - 58 percent support it. Points out how the GOP is out of touch on this, and I think everything else in the universe.
Anyone who has not yet visited this thread yet in support of prayers for Mesta Machine please do so.
She is tireless warrior here on FR and has been a stellar performer on Benghazi and our Threat Assessment thread for years now.We can never pray enough for her.
She recently suffered a bad fall and is reportedly in really bad shape in the hospital.

Will do buddy, mail coming right up.
Newt up with Wallace.
Ruling against DOMA would further undermine the public respect for the court.
Evan Bayh about to dive under the table and demonstrate his support for queer issues.
