Chipotle Mexican Grill has pulled its sponsorship of Utah's "Scout-O-Rama" because of the Boy Scouts of America's long-standing ban on gays.
The popular Colorado-based restaurant chain initially signed on to provide about $4,200 worth of coupons to the Utah Boy Scouts' annual event, scheduled for May 4 in a Salt Lake City suburb. The Boy Scouts' Great Salt Lake Council is one of the largest in the country, with the majority of troops sponsored by Mormon churches.

Qdoba or Illegal Pete’s is an acceptable substitute....at least as far as food goes. Disappointing move by Chipolte. Have eaten there 4-5 times a month for years......will cut that at least in half ......next time in, the manager will be addressed on the issue.

Another business to add to my list of making sure I’ll never spend another dime at. Always good to know these things. Any company supporting such deviancy I’ll do my damnedest to make sure they’ll never see a dime from me.
Their food is really bad for you anyway. I had a bean burrito there about a year ago. I looked it up online later-it had 1800 calories! But no worries about me eating there again, now.
We don’t have Qdoba or Illegal Pete’s here. We have Chipolte and Moe’s Southwest Grill. I usually go to Moe’s since it is closer to my house, but the food is better at Chipolte. I wish Qdoba would make it here. Never heard of Illegal Pete’s.

They asked for name & address so I just made one up.
Not sure about Va where you are, but in (far from the Mexican border) Indiana, it's pretty difficult to find a restaurant of any type without a lot of (probably) illegal Hispanics.
Oh, and just for the record, will never eat at Chipotle's unless they apologize for their stance on homosexuality publicly.
I will definitely never eat there, nor will my family. There are much better Mexican restaurants than Chipotle, anyway.
What needs to happen is for large groups of people to go into these restaurants, make large orders, and then, cancel the order, making the statement that, “Oh, that’s right, this company turned it’s back on the Boy Scouts! I don’t want to do business here after all”
Never eaten at a Chipotle. Guess I never will.
This is why these resturants can do this. The folks that are against the policy are the ones not eating there. They have nothing to lose (at least that is their thoughts).
