History and The Bible executive producers, husband and wife Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, just addressed the Obama-Satan controversy. “History channel has the highest respect for President Obama,” the network said in a statement. “The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It’s unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History’s The Bible is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history.”

It's like watching a baseball game on ESPN's Sports Center....Home runs and stolen bases. Just the highlights. No context. Utter waste of time. The book was much better.
Now, The Vikings is a much better series so far.
Maybe the left is using this as an excuse to pressure the History channel to stop airing the rest of the series on their network....

There was absolutely nothing in the appearance of that actor that made me think Obama.

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that the same actor was used in the Garden scene, but didn’t make any waves then. Only now for some reason is the resemblance being noticed.

I’ve watched all 3 episodes and I think they’ve done a decent job.

Anyone who attempts to put the major stories in the bible inside of 10 hours has their work cut out for them.

So far I agree - well done. However, I would have traded the story of Joseph for the depiction of Sampson.
My first instinct is the Left has gone out of there mind. What a racist comment..THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE, right? Well.. I showed the Satan picture to my husband, who knew nothing about the controversy and asked him who he thought it was. Without missing a beat he said, Barack Obama!!! So..the verdict is in!
