Who decides what a ‘gun crime’ is?
That is why I voted no on that one. Although it sounds good and I agree in principle, its like you said “Who decides what a ‘gun crime’ is?” Could we all of a sudden be put on the list because of a traffic ticket and there was a 22 shell on the floor of the pickup? Especially with this group of wackos in office.

Best to vote ‘no’ and let one slip through the system, then to vote ‘yes’ and turn everyone who owns a gun into a criminal whose fate is decided by the ‘man’.
This is the REAL issue. This is backdoor registration. Does anyone seriously believe that background check information will not go into a data base? That the “non-existent” data base will not be used for confiscation at some later point?
If confiscation is successful, can the “final solution” to the gun violence problem be far behind?

Teachers and school administrators of course! Anyone making a pop tart gun will be put on the list right next to Jared Lee Loughner.
“No” wins on every question but the “gun offender registry.”
That would be redundant. If someone commits a crime with a gun, he has what is called a “felony criminal record,” and no additional REGISTRATION is required. Database flags on those folks would give them all the information that they would need as to who and how many people committed crimes with guns.
