ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) An African American family sued Disneyland after the actor who portrayed the White Rabbit character from Alice in Wonderland allegedly refused to hug or touch their children because of their skin color.
Jason and Annelia Black of San Diego County said the person in the rabbit costume also acted impatiently as their young kids posed for a picture at the Anaheim theme park.
The Blacks, however, said it was a different scene when a Caucasian family arrived.

“....also acted impatiently....”
OK, I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that he wasn’t acting “impatiently,” he was probably acting like he’s LATE. That’s what the white rabbit does. It’s his schtick. If they knew the book they would know this.
The family’s last name is Black and the rabbit is white. Is this satire?
“the person in the rabbit costume also acted impatiently”
SO GIVE ME MONEY SUCKA!
there is a noticeable difference in the way the character is posing with the white kids compared with these particular black kids... in the pics he seems to not want to touch the black kids... maybe he has a good reason... i don't know...
could be the white kids hugged the character first, and he responded to that... maybe the black kids didn't try to hug the character... that seems plausible to me...
An African American family named black.......................for some reason thats funny, but i’m not sure why.
Now they know how I felt when I went to Home Depot and asked a black worker for help, only to be told “It’s not my section” - whereafter he immediately helped a black couple who asked him 30 second later.
Funny when the article referred to them, properly, as “the Blacks”.
If the costumed character WOULD HAVE touched the kids they probably would have complained about it being inapproriate.
These scumbags are looking for a payday no doubt.
Empowerment in the Age of Obama.
stick toy guns in their pants and send ‘em thru TSA on the way home...they’ll get touched plenty
Maybe he needed a potty break.
It is difficult to believe that one can impart intent from a still photograph such as these.
There were three pictures I saw......a white kid, one black boy and an older teenaged black girl. The fact of the picture shows the actor touching the white boy and NOT touching the black boy and girl. That is all that I can say about that. The rest is unsubstantiated hearsay or personal account that may or may not have been scripted by the parent(s).
They were offered a ‘go away’ settlement of VIP tickets and $500. They should have taken it. I don’t really care that they think they were discriminated against...it didn’t look like it to me (from the on-site pictures) those kids were devastated.
If it is true, and they have an issue complain to Disney. You can bet they have security camera footage...
If someone was insulted, I am sorry for them, but life is full of insults that cannot rise to the level of asking government to intervene. How can anyone defend themselves against such a charge?
The white rabbit is holding a little kid.
Turned down money and signed a confidentiality agreement?? Yeh...right!!

Disgusting bunch of freeloaders..
If I’m a caucasian, or the more derisive CAUCASOID as I’ve seen used in black comedies, does this mean I can call black people Negroids now?
Let me guess, they are suing to get money from Disney for this?
