The phones are ringing off the wall.
If you've tried to get through to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), you know it's been tough. If you've wanted to express your concern about the BSA abandoning their longstanding policy of safeguarding Scouts by restricting openly homosexual Scout leaders from holding leadership positions, you may have been greeted by an endlessly ringing phone. This may be one instance in which the Boy Scouts were not prepared.
The BSA national leadership were not prepared for the thousands of Americans who were shocked to hear that an organization that could always be counted on for standing for what's right was about to cave-in to homosexual activists and corporations which have been threatening the organization's funding.
For generations, the BSA has shaped our nation's moral character by teaching young men to do their duty to God and country. This is why, when the BSA board begins its annual meeting on Monday of next week, it is so important that you keep the pressure on, to show them how devastating this moral collapse will be for the Scouts and the country.
Please call the members of the BSA Board of Directors (sample call script below) and kindly urge them to stand strong and true to their timeless values:

Hello, my name is _________, from __________.
Thank you for your service as a board member of the Boy Scouts of America.
As you're aware, a new proposal indicates that the Boy Scouts of America may revoke their longstanding policy of safeguarding Scouts by restricting homosexuals from holding leadership positions over boys. For decades, your national organization has kept the interest of the boys it serves as the focus of all its actions. No matter what, the Boy Scouts of America could be counted upon to do the right thing and not yield to any social pressure, and has thus far stood strong.
Please do not jeopardize the safety and moral integrity of Scouting in the interest of social activism. The proposal to relegate the decision on homosexual leaders to local chartered organizations sends the wrong signal from the national body: that political correctness ultimately triumphs over character.
Please retain the current long-held and time-tested policy regarding homosexual leadership and membership. America stands with you. Lead the way. Please stand strong.
Thank you, and God bless you.
Together, we can make a difference in turning the tide and keeping an honorable organization on an honorable path.
I sent an email to Wayne.Brock@scouting.org. Only email I have.
“I guess we should now start modifying the Scout Oath. Now the morally clean is out the window. Whats next. “
Morally clean to filthy disease ridden.
I’ve “liked” the BSA Facebook page for 3 1/2 years now. I haven’t been there(or on FB at all) since Monday because of this. I suppose I should post to them on there though I’ll have to wade through pages of spam posts by haters to do so.
Add UPS to the list provided by Grams.
It might be too late for the Boy Scouts. The fact that they are even CONSIDERING letting homosexual “scout leaders” take little boys off into the woods speaks volumes, none of it good.
"recently, pressure surfaced on the Scouts' own national executive board. Two high-powered members Ernst & Young CEO James Turley and AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson indicated they would try to work from within to change the membership policy . . .."
Here is a link where you can send an e-mail to Mr. Turley. Send e-mail to Turley Look for the "contact Jim" button on the left-hand side of the page.
I suggest a message along the following lines:
Dear Mr. Turley:
I recently read that you are attempting to destroy the Boy Scouts of America by endorsing homosexual scout leaders. Usually when I get notices of annual stockholder meetings I ignore them. However, due to this action of yours, from now on I shall vote to disapprove the selection of Ernst & Young as auditors of every publicly-traded company in which I am a shareholder.
Sincerely,
Thanks for that name. I quit using UPS last fall but it was because of some other issue. Only use FedEx.
It’s all about the money. Sell your sole for filthy money. One of the two pervs on the board pushing this is in line to be president of the organization next year.
bttt for later
Excellent point. I was told that even married couples (one man, one woman) are not allowed to share a tent on a BSA camping trip. It's against policy just because something could happen.

do not follow the script verbatim, if anything make it SHORTER so more people can call in opposition to endangering children. even change up the "god bless" part so they know it is not only mere religion, that logic and reason dictate keeping homosexual practitioners away from children.
VERY IMPORTANT TO ALSO CALL THE MAIN NUMBER:
972-580-2330
I have added:
“the two board members who are pushing this child endangering policy should tender their resignations immediatly.”
I believe randa stephenson is one.
sorry been away but I;ve sent them messages from me and others in my family
“I was told that even married couples (one man, one woman) are not allowed to share a tent on a BSA camping trip.”
You were told wrong.
Someone with the troop told me that married couples cannot share a tent on a BSA camping trip. But maybe that's just the policy of this particular troop...
Yes, a troop could make that a policy, but it would make family camps pretty challenging. Maybe they don’t include families in their outings. Some troops limit activities to scouts and leaders only. Our troop is very family friendly.
It sounds like you have a nice troop.
