Bannon. 9 P.M. (Fox News) BOOMTOWN: WASHINGTON, THE IMPERIAL CITY In this edition of Hannity, the host, Sean Hannity; Peter Schweizer, the president and co-founder of the Government Accountability Institute; and Stephen K. I think it is very current and informative. Anyone watching??
Information covered in this program further reinforces my opinion that we desperately need term limits.

It’s going to take more than that. JMO.
All I can say from watching is that it’ll make you mad as hell.
An excellent program. I hope it makes some waves. Sickening corruption.

I don’t think I can be any madder than I already am.
Somehow seeing some of this on tv versus reading about it on internet really hit home to me. Not that it covered a lot of new territory, it was very current.
As I said on another thread, hope my neighbors and kids can see it! Hope they post it on Fox News.
This program should be ‘must watch’ for every American.
I’ve e-mail several friends to DVR it later tonight.
While we knew it is going on, Boomtown slaps you in the face with the reality.
IMO it explains the bipartisan opposition to Sarah Palin.
She was on a crusade to shut crony capitalism down.
Neither party wants the money to stop flowing.
(now where did I put those BP pills)

~Exactly!
(now where did I put those BP pills)
~I know the feeling!
I probably should be taking BP pills, but for that I am still in denial. I did finally break down and go to the doctor for a pain in my gut and am now taking Prilosec.
Watching "Boomtown" didn't help with my BP or stomach pain.
Seven counties surrounding DC are some of the richest in the country.
The DC Maserati dealership is the largest in the country -- not the most profitable (that's in Miami), because they don't finance -- the customers mostly pay CA$H!!
For every lobbying $1 spent, the return is $220. (Trent Lott has partnered with Dims/libs in lobbying). They're all *related* via lobbying family connections. Pathetic.
Great show. And, yes, it WILL make your blood boil. The ruling class look down their noses as we taxpayers foot the bill.
That show was very informative. We sure have problems. How do we clean it up is the question.
I broke the tolerance barrier election night and have, until the Hillary hearings, unfailingly celebrated my ongoing TV news blackout. The FAUX News, CNN hype is about profit and it thrives on anxiety.
Deciding not to participate in the hype, the ratings profit and the anxiety has proved remarkably easy, with the ability to read the nuts and bolts here.
Hillary hearings were irresistible TV. However, the five hours of Republican performance was resistable, and embarrassingly pathetic. She buried them instead of the other way around, but for the brief blurbs of coherent mutterings from two or three R’s.
Over the past 4 years, my biggest stress reactions have occurred in my mouth when I sleep. I now suffer TMJ and grind my teeth :( Money in the flex account for a mouth guard this year....
I will dvr the program again at 11, may need to go run on treadmill or watch a sitcom after to reduce the TMJ tonight....

Watched it. They covered a story that David Webb had talked about on his show, last week.

Not sure what this is about, but Hannity is re-airing in a minute.
Sorry to go against the grain, but this was a terrible, misleading show.
Yes, the Washington area (which is not just DC but also Maryland and Virginia suburbs) has benefitted from the huge spending tsunami. But that money goes into a lot of pockets, a lot of them doing legitimate work. Focusing obsessively on silly things like a Masserati dealer does not tell the whole story.
Some of those companies that the show “exposed” are doing essential work because the government itself lacks the skilled people to do the job. The affirmative action GS-15 who is vastly overpaid and underworked is backed up and made to look good by a bunch of private sector system analysts and engineers who actually come up with the new air traffic control system, or the satellite communications network, or the medical vaccine distribution.
There are overpaid parasites, like the lobbyists, lawyers, media whores, pundits, and the finance gurus, but they are not 100% of the populace, which includes a majority of average hard-working waitresses, salesmen, tradesmen, etc. They are not buying Masseratis and million dollar homes.
So, yeah, get your dander up, but the area is not the promised land for everyone like this show pictured.
