A woman in southern Sweden has been charged for attempted assault after attacking a man with a frying pan full of Swedish sausages.
The woman, who is in her fifties, reportedly threw the frying pan at the man during a heated spat at their home in Borås, southern Sweden.
She even threatened to kill the man, according to Sveriges Radio.
While the flying frying pan didn't hit the intended target, the man was hit with the force of the pan's contents - Swedish Falukorv and a good dose of grease.
The man was not injured by the Swedish sausage.
The woman has now been charged with attempted assault and making illegal threats, with the victim demanding compensation of 850 kronor ($130).
Falukorv is a traditional Swedish sausage, usually made with a mixture of grated pork, beef, or veal, together with potato starch flour and spices.
The sausage's name comes from the town of Falun in central Sweden, where the falukorv has history stretching back to the 16th century among workers at the local copper mine.
The sausage is a popular ingredient in many a Swedish dish, and is often served with potato, macaroni or beans.
The falukorv was even a central character in one of Sweden's cult pornographic films from the seventies, Fäbodjäntan (titled "Come and Blow the Horn" in the UK).
if it will save one life, we need to act immediatly on swedish sausage control
Ban sausages! And frying pans!
NAPL please!!!
At least ban high capacity frying plans of 9 inches or larger. No one need to cook that much sausage.
Ping
Few of us Swedes would claim Falukorv to be a delicacy, just like Americans in general don’t consider the hot dog to be the best dish USA ever has come up with.
About the Falukorv:

This is outrageous. Everyone knows the German Attack Sausage is recommended for this type of use.
Two to four links is all anyone needs.
Well, at least she didn’t come at him with a pointy stick.
Having a hot frying pan thrown at you can cause serious injuries. The only reason it didn't was that she missed. If it happened to me, I'd be out of there immediately and filing for divorce.
Will these double standards ever end? lol
Not as deadly as a Polish Kill-basa.
It’s all in the presentation. Served underhand at 80 MPH it loses it’s charm.
Now if this were Norway, and the man had been hit with a glob of lutefisk, it would definitely be grounds for assault with a deadly food. Uff da!
I can’t figure why the nationality of the man’s sausage is important to this story.
Well, it’s not the wurst that could happen............
This is just weird because I had swedish sausage for supper last night. I used my sausage responsibly.
Would an American Sausage have been more threatening or dangerous?
