The Constitution of the United States is an undeniably powerful document. So powerful in fact, that it took establishment elitists with aspirations of globalized governance over a century to diminish the American peoples connection to it. Its been a long time coming, but in the new millennium, there is now indeed a subsection of the masses that not only have no relationship to our founding roots, they actually despise those of us who do!
There are a number of reasons for this dangerous development in our culture: A public school system that rarely if ever teaches children about the revolution, the founders, constitutional liberty, or the virtues of individualism in general. A mainstream media apparatus that has regurgitated endless anti-constitutional shlock for decades, attacking any person or group that presents a freedom oriented view. And a governmental structure that has become so corrupt, so openly criminal, that they ignore all aspects of constitutional law without regard, rarely feeling the need to explain themselves. As a people, we are surrounded daily by the low droning wash-talk of denigration and disdain for our principled foundations. The wretched ghosts of collectivism and tyranny mumble in our ears from birth to death. Its truly a miracle that every man and woman in this nation has not succumbed to the mind numbing hypnotism
However, our propaganda soaked environment is not the ONLY cause of our self destructive society; many people are themselves to blame. Severe character flaws and psychological imbalances have left some open to suggestion, manipulation, and fraud. Their hatred, though fueled in part by the socialization of the establishment, is still theirs to own.

I think Dave Dougherty and I give a pretty good answer in our new book, “A Patriot’s History of the Modern World to 1945”: the answer is American Exceptionalism, which consists of Christian religion, common lae, private property with titles and deeds, and a free market. These are all contained in the Constitution, and in 1789 only one other country, Britain, had these elements-—but not written in a code or Constitution. But Britain has all but lost common law, mostly lost the Christian religion, and is losing its free market.
The Constitution is about limits. It limits government and the government is where the left finds its natural home. People without morals or ethics hate limits.
In our hearts, we’re control freaks. Just ask the DEA.

A major criticism of the Constitution was the absence of a Bill of Rights. Aside from its obvious protections, Richard Henry Lee wrote of a BOR as sort of a text for continuing education in the foundations of our society.
The reason some societies held on to their God given rights like jealous lovers was because they were reminded of them often in schools, newspapers and public proclamations. In Great Britain, Magna Charta was read twice a year in public places, not that it would lose its validity without such confirmations, but to fix the contents of it in the minds of the people.
If neglected, we were sure to descend to the pitiful condition of man in mainland Europe, where they accepted their very existence to be at the whim of despots.
A republic cannot be maintained by a people ignorant of the traditions and ideas essential to their political happiness.
We are very close to accepting the slavish condition endured by most men throughout history.
The Constitution is all about limiting the power and the size of government. Those in government are power junkies and hate anything that might limit their power.
“Where Does The Hatred of Constitutionalism Come From?”
A reading of the Constitution of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA at this link should make clear their goals and methods and answer this question.

But, I have to agree with one of the comments. They correctly point out that the Constitution as such has indeed failed us or maybe more correctly ...we have failed the Constitution.
In reading the, “5,000 Year Leap,” one item stuck profoundly with me. The founders at the time of the writing and debate questioned if, We the People, were moral enough to have liberty.
A Constitution, as we see today, cannot function if the people are not moral enough to maintain their liberty. As we march into this very dark time in our country's history we must recognize we will not retain our liberty until we restore morality to the people.
It comes from the Progressive movement that thought it was antiquated and obstructed their “new and improved Scientific” ideas of governing.
The more I learn about Woodrow Wilson, the more I despise the man.
Nailed it exactly. They don't respect established authority, whether it comes from the Constitution or the Bible.
They also seem to disregard facts and reality.
In The Garden, Satan tempted Eve with a crucial tactic, still used today ...
"Yea, HATH God said .. ?" (emphasis mine)
It was common in my hippy days to "question authority" and there doesn't appear to be a reason to change that attitude, but Satan still uses it as a tactic to justify his hustle.
The Constitution declares all the basic rules for a decent and proper operation of government, and it is sufficient for men or morality and conscience to legislate and operate without guilt nor regret.
The enemy continues the same tactic of foisting on the unlearned, "Yea, HATH the Costitution said .. "
So the hatred of or for The Constitution is based in the hatred for the decency, morality and maturity of a people that is Bible based.
hatred for the Constitution is hatred for the Bible which is hatred for God which is Satanic.
Now, I'll go read the article.
The founders also knew there was a God and man though made in the image of God has a fallen nature. For the past 50 years humanists and liberals have remove as much of God and the truth about man’s fallen condition from government and education. We now have several generations that think they are gods. These little gods think good intentions and spending billions can fix every problem. They think removing guns stop crime.
The hatred of constitutionalism comes from hearts darkened with that age old lawlessness that emanates from hearts not controlled by the Spirit of God.
The Founders warned us that freedom required vigilance. Conservatives allowed leftists to take over schools and pack the classrooms with communists. Leftists infiltrated county boards and gave union leaches untenable contracts while raising property taxes through the roof. Conservatives refused to get involved and elect constitutional sheriffs into their counties who believed in the 2nd amendment.
Conservatives were busy remodeling kitchens, barbecuing burgers and chasing the dollar and forgot to secure liberty for themselves and their children. We’re in this mess because of overbearing self-interest and sloth.
The lawless will always oppose constraints of the law, whether written on tablets of stone or written on hearts of flesh...especially when written on the hearts of flesh(such as Judeo-Christian consensus) for this is the most direct opposition to the spirit of God that evil men and tyrants can ever muster!
Where Does The Hatred Of Constitutionalism Come From?
With few exceptions, institutions of “higher education”.
I believe that the American Constitution was divinely conceived. Hence, the hatred from evil for it. The left has embraced satan and in doing so unwittingly is seeing “reason” for evil as doing “good”. We can see this not only in disrespect of the constitution but in disrespect for life, marriage, Christianity, etc. It is the ultimate battle between God and evil that we are witnessing unfold right now.
