His take on Vice President Joe Biden's comment that "executive action can be taken" to curb gun violence:
Biden's comments came during a meeting with gun safety advocacy groups and victims of gun violence earlier on Wednesday. He said the White House has determined that "executive action can be taken," but he didn't specify what those measures might be.
It was the first suggestion from the White House that it could bypass Congress in instituting measures to combat gun violence in the wake of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. The White House has pushed Congress to reinstate a ban on assault weapons that expired in 2004, close loopholes that allow gun buyers to bypass background checks and ban some high-capacity magazines.
Drudge's splash illustrates a common fear among conservatives that has been expressed most recently by controversial radio host Alex Jones in a fiery interview with CNN host Piers Morgan. It's a fear that the federal government will take away guns.
"The tyrants did it! Hitler took the guns! Stalin took the guns! Mao took the guns! Fidel Castro took the guns! Hugo Chavez took the guns!" Jones said on CNN Monday.
"I'm here to tell you — 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms!"

Haven’t been listening to Glenn since before the elections. I do care for him as an individual and pray for his safety, but I think he’s a little disconnected from reality at times.

Don’t confuse his often slapstick radio show with his TV network. It is awesome.
Perhaps a symbolic protest is needed. Such as when greenies turn off all their lights at an appointed time. Except this time, if Obama makes a move and patriots announce an appointed time, the air will be filled with the sounds of millions of guns being fired. Even if cities have gunshot detection equipment, that will be overwhelmed by thousands of simultaneous gunshots. I think such an action will let them know we are ready to act.
At least to supporters of Communist Party USA who rallied against "the war" until Hitler betrayed their beloved Joe Stalin.

If certain firearms are banned, or subject to confiscation, they will simply be hidden aganst the time when they might be be needed.

Romney would have led the bandwagon to ban all that he could get away with banning.
However, if he could not win Congressional passage of leglislation to do it, he would not be threating do it via EO as dicator Obamawannabe is doing.

Well, Hitler has him beat on at least one front. I actually bought one of his ugly iinexpensive cars (a 1962 Volkswagen in the early 80s as a winter car) but I will never buy one of Obama’s ugly expensive Volts-wagons...
