His take on Vice President Joe Biden's comment that "executive action can be taken" to curb gun violence:
Biden's comments came during a meeting with gun safety advocacy groups and victims of gun violence earlier on Wednesday. He said the White House has determined that "executive action can be taken," but he didn't specify what those measures might be.
It was the first suggestion from the White House that it could bypass Congress in instituting measures to combat gun violence in the wake of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. The White House has pushed Congress to reinstate a ban on assault weapons that expired in 2004, close loopholes that allow gun buyers to bypass background checks and ban some high-capacity magazines.
Drudge's splash illustrates a common fear among conservatives that has been expressed most recently by controversial radio host Alex Jones in a fiery interview with CNN host Piers Morgan. It's a fear that the federal government will take away guns.
"The tyrants did it! Hitler took the guns! Stalin took the guns! Mao took the guns! Fidel Castro took the guns! Hugo Chavez took the guns!" Jones said on CNN Monday.
"I'm here to tell you — 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms!"

Furthermore, it is important that those who love the American tradition, premised upon individual responsibility, fully appreciate the implied premises of having a massed following, chanting in unison in a great stadium, as their "Leader" rants in measured inflections. It was certainly no accident in 2008, when the Democrats adjourned from the Convention Hall to a great Stadium, for the "Leaders'" 2008 acceptance of their call to power.
Those implied premises are the absolute antithesis of a society based upon maximizing individual responsibility.

Things seem to be coming to a head...
this is coming when there are calls to mint a $1 Trillion coin, which is effectively the executive giving the middle finger to the nation. There is no difference, NONE, between minting this coin for deposit in the fed and just violating the law/Constitution, let alone the laws of economics. Is a matter of fact, minting the coin *IS* equivalent to the treasury secretary donning a clown costume. Perhaps that’s the real reason Geitner is getting out...

They are similar they both love the power of government controlling everyone's lives.
Obama wants t test the resolve of conservative patriots across the nation. IMHO, he thinks that the conservative movement, so called, is dead. The election proved it to him.
What remains to be seen is just how many citizens will stand up against Obama’s firearms executive orders.
The president is threatening the People directly, threatening conservatives directly, with an executive order designed to terminate our 2nd amendment rights. If we do not prevent tyhis or rise against this, Obama will be able to get away with just about ANY executive order.
THIS IS A HUGE TEST. Conservative patriots across the nation had better gird themselves and ante up.OR ELSE.
You’ve gotta love Matt Drudge sometimes. That’s going to drive the left crazy. One of my favorite Drudge stories goes back to the 90s when Elian Gonzalez was abducted by heavily armed agents, at gunpoint, to be sent back to Cuba. He had a t-shirt made with the photo of a terrified Elian as an agent is pointing an MP-5 and him and the relative holding him. He wore that shirt to the White House Correspondents Dinner and Janet Reno was visibly upset when she saw the shirt. I thought she was the worst AG ever, but her former deputy, Eric Holder, is in line to take that (dis)honor from her.
Don’t count on the local cops and sheriffs to ignore a federal order. Very few of them have ever read the constitution. They’ll do what they’re told to do. Plus, this would give a lot of them an excuse to go shoot some dogs.
